Ahh!! I wanted this to be such a good experience but it just wasn’t up to par at all. We paid $213 total for the pictures seen for the “immaculate cleaning package” and when we asked if they could refund some money - they stated they would not and that they would charge us more if they wanted us to come back and clean more. Cons: 1. I had to give them my credit card over the phone to them which is always unnerving in today’s world - since their website was not working. 2. Upon looking at the job there were multiple things that I went, HUH? - like the gas petal, brake, where you put your foot none of that was cleaned or even touched. I took two seconds and got it all cleaned up. (See the before and after picture of what I did). 3. Nothing was cleaned in the door cavity where the logo is. 4. Multiple dirt stains still on the car’s seat and they didn’t seem wet. I’m not sure if they take a drill brush or shampoo it, but man it didn’t seem agitated at all. Just a quick swipe with the wet vac. 5. Upon trying to resolve things with them they basically stated “nothing we can do”, which seems brutal. 6. We paid for 3.5 hour and only got 3. They refuse to come back. Pros: 1. they drive to you, which is so nice! 2. The guys are nice - which is cool! 3. They were working for some time in some brutal heat which is grueling. 4. The main dash is really nice - where the screen is! Some suggestions: 1. Be open and honest stating you will not do any restoring just simple wiping down - no toothbrush combing through things - no cleaning of the brake or gas petal 2. I wouldnt suggest calling it “immaculate” maybe “decently clean job” 3. get someone with a bigger attention to detail working for you - that can glance over the car and really make sure it seems immaculate .

Took my new Genesis GV-60 to Jonny at Equal Auto for front PPF and a full ceramic coat. This was six months ago and I still love how the car shines and how easy it is to clean! Even bug guts come off with minimal effort. When I got my Lucid Air, the first thing I did was take it to Equal Auto for the same treatment. I recommend front PPF and ceramic coating for anyone who wants their car to look great year-round. It makes it so much easier to clean and there's no need for waxing. And Equal Auto is the place to go in central Virginia!

Cash is meticulous in his methods. Our Tesla was incredibly dirty after weeks of cross country travel. Our Akita’s hair had made it’s way into the carpet from our shoes and no matter how much I vacuumed I couldn’t get it out. Thank you so much for your attention to detail. The attendants are great. Extremely nice and helpful. The wash however is never consistent. 90% of the time soap is still on the car. Not enough water is sprayed towards the end. I've been to others and they have a lot of water spraying so by the time you get to the dryers you have very little soap left for it to be blown off.

Best car wash in town. I left Zips due to it seemed harsh in the wash, they were always out of towels, and most of the vacuums were not working due to they wrote maintenance orders but there are lengthy delays to fix. In comparison, Whistle Express often does a manual prewash even for the most basic wash, is a gentler wash, and always has loads of towels and working vacuums. They also have great people working there and offering assistance like vacuuming the floor mats. I have a white corolla that is parked under sappy crepe myrtles dripping black honeydew. It's not gotten clean before I brought it here. Between the wash and wiping it with cloths afterwards there are no black spots. I've not seen that for years. Long story ahead about a problem they resolved if you care... I had a piece of molding come off my car in the wash. The manager could see on video that it was on but not fully attached on my way into the wash. They looked for it easy places immediately and didn't find it. The manager said they would look after closing, and they didn't find it then either (I had to find out by coming back in). He said for me to get it replaced and bring in the invoice. This isn't required by their signage but he told me the would pay due to it obviously came off in the wash but they couldn't find it (pretty large so I don't know how but they didn't find it). I replaced it within a week. I brought in the invoice and the manager wasn't there any more, quit without notice. I had nothing in writing but the people were working that were there before. After multiple trips in there (as there was no email or phone call to tell me it was being processed) I eventually got a call from a regional person who said that within the month I would have a check. They were honoring what the manager told me, even though they weren't required to do this. I got that check today! I really appreciate the employees that saw me there multiple times and supported that the manager had confirmed the issue and stated it would be covered.

$120 to have a small SUV "done right" and you don't wax the roof? What kind of stuff is that? Left a lot of lint inside, swrils in the wax on the outside, DID NOT WAX THE ENTIRE VEHICLE, etc. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time and money here.

Some of the phrases used we're MF'r, MF'n N*g*a, P****y and others. No thanks. I'll take my business somewhere with more than zero class.

With so many car washes opening in the last couple of years, my experience says this should be the last one to consider. It doesn’t get the car clean and the staff don’t present that they really could care less First, you drive in and are told their systems don’t work, and they are purely membership only going forward. After questioning they sold me a single car wash at their highest price. No receipt or option other than text. Next, you go through the car wash and notice at the exit that trash and debris are piled up at the exit, so as soon as you get the car clean you drive through trash, including a soda can to avoid and several plastic water bottles. You get out of the car and find it to not be clean. Multiple areas missed, bugs still in the front, mirrors, windshield, etc. This was pointed out to the attendant, who said all they could do was run through again, which I did. Not only did that not do any better, they ran a basic wash that took away the tire shine and drying actions I had paid for with their upsell. Pull into the vacuums and one not working. Other one beside the car was marginal at best. There are towels to dry what should have been done by the wash itself and all stacks of towels are cold and wringing wet, so that was fruitless as well. Based on my experience I will continue to caution everyone to choose a car wash wisely and steer clear of this one as to not be thoroughly disappointed.

My wheels didn't come completely clean even though it says it includes the wheels but HONESTLY my car was so dirty I was just happy to have the help. For $18 & the ability to use their vacuumes was well worth it. The vacuum did keep coming off but I could have moved my car and I like that they offer cleaning spray because that helped me clean the rest. The gentleman at the check in was super nice and helpful too.

The Zips car wash on Old Forest in Lynchburg was particularly nice today. I’ve been to many car washes around town but these guys working today made it a fun experience. The greeter was friendly despite how cold it was and the guy directing cars was playfully pretending to spray my daughter with the hose making her laugh. I appreciated them spreading smiles in something as simple as a car wash.

I have a membership at tidal wave. I go there three or four times a week most of the time. They have great service. My truck always looks good and the manager the new manager. The guy with the shorts can’t think of his name. He always does a great job and make sure everything is perfect for all my trucks and I’m happy.

When I first got my membership we were having trouble getting it to upload, but Griffin was super helpful, kind, and made sure we got it figured out in a timely manner. I always appreciate free vacs and the wash itself is pretty nice. However, last time I went there the attendant wouldn’t just give me the regular wash and talked me into the premium wash plus membership. I was tired and said “whatever” and he failed to mention that the membership costs $45 before he charged my card. I also haven’t received an email confirmation for the membership and can’t figure out how to cancel online. And the premium wash still left half my tires looking dirty. Plus, like someone else said, half of the vacs are broken anyway.

Nice people, but honestly you’re gonna get what you pay for, for $55. They don’t offer shampooing, but a cloth rub. Don’t expect an extractor for that deep dirt. I feel ripped off honestly. A lot of dirt left that I went home and cleaned off myself. They told me some of the spots were hard to get out and not to worry about it. Isn’t that your job though?

Very poor workmanship and dishonest got my truck cleaned there last week and didn't notice until today when I put a decal on my back window and the top of my truck was still dirty. So whoever gets their cars or trucks clean there.make sure you check it over before you leave. because they won't HONOR to make it right
