This place is awesome. I’ve been coming here for years. The New Ceramic Pro services is completely the best. I’ve been having problems with micro scratches and swirls in paint of my car. I’ve been trying everything I could think of to fix it. Talked with Jon the owner he got me in fairly quickly. Keep me informed of everything and any problem. I've been to this place twice and think for the money they do a really good job for the cost of the Ultimate Wash ($38). I would like to see them a better coupon discount. $1 off is hardly worth the paper it's written on...you guys should consider $3 to $5 off especially when a customer is spending on Premium Cleaning Pkgs. I was really blown away when I picked my Honda Odyssey...thought it was another vehicle. They did more than I expected. A real excellent detailing job ...removing many stain spots mostly out in the front. They did the car wash, too... In fact, my few friends thought I got a new vehicle. I had reservations about using a mobile detailer but the gentleman who came to my office and worked on my car was absolutely fantastic. He took his time and didn’t miss a spot! The interior was perfect. He cleaned up some paint chips. Overall it’s worth the money. I will definitely recommend them.

Took my car here on a Saturday morning for a detailing service that took about 4 hours. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed, especially considering how much I was charged. The job felt rushed, with little attention to detail. My rims were left dirty, and I had to clean them myself with a paper towel, which is unacceptable. The crevices around the doors and trunk were also not thoroughly cleaned, and again, I was left to finish the job. I reached out to the business but have yet to receive a response. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place for a car detailing at all.

Marco did a fabulous job detailing the interior of my Audi A3. Even the neighbors took notice. My biggest problem was the smell of gasoline in the cabin from a botched fuel pump replacement. Marco carefully wiped down every surface and shampooed the rugs and mats. Viola - the car smelled like new. He also was familiar with the car and he knew exactly where to clean. I recently had Steamed & Cleaned LLC Mobile Detailing service my Genesis G70, and I’m thoroughly impressed. They arrived on time, were professional, and their attention to detail was outstanding. I came here and they got the full service for $48 kind of high but the guys did a great job. I wasn't expecting much because it was too cold to work outside yet they surprised me. **UPDATED REVIEW** *FIRST VISIT* I almost didn't find the place because it was inside of a parking garage. Google maps led me to a location that happened to be right in front of the parking garage and I called, then the man had instructed me to go inside of the garage and like the curious white person who gets killed in the movie, I enter the garage and drive all the way to the bottom. There's a sign after you go through the gate thing and you just go all the way down and there's a crew at the bottom cleaning cars. They were quick and efficient. I'm glad I didn't have to wait long for a car wash (i requested without vacuuming the interior). Very satisfied and will be back *THIS IS THE UPDATED REVIEW* So I came back here to get my car fully detailed. The mats weren't dry when they put them back in the car so my car ended up smelling like a wet dog. There were drips of some type of light blue/silver paint that got into my car at the passenger side. I forgot to take the photos before I sold the car. They did a great job cleaning, but made bad mistakes. I added 2 or 3 before photo and the rest are after photos.

Made a reservation for a full detailing(exterior & interior) $200 plus. I included on the reservation details that I wanted to remove a few small stains. Also to take care of the seatbelts because they were dirty. The reservation said the service was 2 hours, but they ask if we could pick it up a little bit after that and we agreed. It bothers me that the service was not a detailing as described. Windows were not cleaned to detail, had stains and water marks on it, rims were not cleaned, trunk carpet was not cleaned only vacuum, seat belts and headliner remains with stains and some other details were missing. You don't expect to pay a full detailing and see the car with a lot of details not taking care off. I do not recommend this place for a detailing. Maybe another services but not this one. The work performed does not meet the term "detail" in any form. Details are what matters when paying for a full service. I do have to say that I forgot my parking ticket for the garage and they discounted that from my total so I could leave the lot without paying extra.

I am so upset! I used to come here all the time!! I even recommend this place to family and friends and they have came here. I just left about 20 mins ago, I paid for the highest, $40 service AND tipped just for my car to not be what I expected. I already had to tell two of the employees that they missed two spots inside my car, the cup holder and the area where my usb and charger holder takes place. My radio is still dusty and my dash board is dusty, my windows are untouched as well as my carpet. This place used to be my favorite, I stay 40 mins from here and I didn’t have a problem commuting and paying, however, this is unacceptable. Time and date is stamped on receipt!

Quick work but missed a good amount. After going back minutes later, they vacuumed missed areas, cleaned windows they skipped, and wiped down the front interior that were originally missed. But, there was still dirt outside and inside that was fairly visible. Exterior is done better than interior but not perfect. For $40, they could have taken the extra time to do a better interior clean. Will try another car wash next time. Photos taken after returning for rework cleaning.

It took 25 years, but I finally found the best place to take my 1998 Toyota Tacoma!! I write two types of reviews: Awesome or Crappy. If you are in a hurry, just skip this review and take your vehicle to K&G Auto Repair and Detailing now! You will not regret it! This place is AWESOME! I am no “Master Mechanic”, but have done a lot of work on my 1998 Tacoma. However, at my age and without off street parking or a garage in Old Town, maintaining the love of my life is getting difficult. However, I know when others do wrong things to my truck. The Toyota dealerships close by are way too expensive and the quality of the work has declined. I bounced around several independent shops and found them sloppy or incompetent. The last shop was fair in prices, but used junk parts. I had to pay $400 labor three times because the CV axles they installed were junk and the boots tore between 9-14 months. The owner said, “What do you expect, everything is made in China.” That’s a lie and I fired that shop. So, back searching again. I looked at many reviews on K&G Auto Repair and Detailing and liked what I read. The few bad reviews were from customers that did not know what they were talking about. Just go through them and you will see. I have met the Owner, Kostas, along with his Service Advisor, Sasha. They are both wonderful folks that listen and make sure your concerns/issues are well taken care of. I am a very detail oriented person and will often put together a list of details and instructions that would scare most shops. This was not the case at K&G. They gladly accepted my demands and did everything perfect three times and I will be picking of my truck tomorrow for the fourth time. The first time was a test. I had them do a Wax Detail Package, oil change, tire rotation and safety inspection. Everything was perfect! You would be surprised how many crappy detailers that are out there. K&G did a perfect job. Their auto detailing is fantastic! The second time was to have a stubborn front exhaust pipe and install two oxygen sensors replaced along with a Wax Detail Package. Everything was perfect! The third time was the big test in which I had them install a new timing belt kit (many parts), new spark plugs, new spark plug wires, new ignition coils, fuel filter, new PVC valve & hose, new lower ball joints, oil change, transmission/differential/transfer case fluid changes and chassis lube, along with other things. I asked then to check my truck for anything else they could find. They only recommended a 4 wheel alignment because they replaced the lower balls joints. Once again, everything was done perfect! There was no upsell or recommending of unnecessary repairs. THIS IS MY PLACE!! My truck is currently there now for the fourth time. I requested the Wax Detail Package and state inspection. I also asked them to check/charge or replace the battery if necessary because I do not drive the truck as much as I should. They called me and stated the truck is ready and they found no issues with the battery. The trust factor just keeps getting better. Again, I write two types of reviews. This place is AWESOME when it comes to detailing and repairs. Their work is of the highest quality at a very reasonable price. Why are you still reading this? Go here if you're looking for honest and reliable mechanics in the DMV area. Went to a chain repair shop for a car vent replacement and left there with an AC that doesn't work. Lost all my trust and went to a K&G for their great reputation. I'm telling the worker about my situation and he tells me what they could do to try to find the fix but it could lead to another repair depending what happens, but that he won't work on the car until he gets my permission to move forward. Loved the honesty and transparency. He also showed how me cared for his customers. I had no idea my VA inspection sticker expired and he brought it to my attention. We got the inspection done right there and I am so thankful a cop didn't fine me for being out of compliance. Bottom line, go here when you want your car to have work done to it by trusted mechanics.

Honestly one of the best car wash/detailing I’ve ever had. It’s so convenient as they come to your house, saved me the hustle of going to a shop with my kids. Oh my goodness, Wilson and his team are amazing!!! I basically live out of my car, and the only other detail I’d had before this was probably 6 or 7 years ago. So they had their work cut out for them! I found Wilson in a moment of desperation after spilling an entire cappuccino on the carpet, and he scheduled my appointment super quickly. I left the car overnight with him and when I picked it up today, I was completely thrilled. The interior is just like new now. It’s honestly breathtaking! I’d also requested an interior only detail, because my car needs some body work, but it has also been cleaned and tire shined. Even with a membership, this would NOT be worth it. $30 for a single wash that left streaks everywhere. I’m going to have to stop at a gas station to get rid of the white marks it left on my windows. I don’t quite understand how this happened, but there is still a crazy amount of dust on the roof of my car with little marks indicating what turned out to be a failed attempt at cleaning. It didn’t even get bird poop off the side of the car. The dryer is subpar. Any car wash worth anything will have someone at the end to give a quick wipe down of the car, so now I have dried water marks. It’s almost like they were using dirty water or the equipment was dirty enough to leave the marks. A membership isn’t going to fix that. This is the type of place that will try to sell you HARD on a membership, so if that’s something that makes you uncomfortable, I’d recommend going elsewhere. The second guy who tried to sell me a membership called me “sweetie” which is just such a condescending ick. You’re better off going to a different place with better service and a better product for the price. Pictures attached.

$30 wash. The car wash stopped during the wash and I had to back up then it started again but the brushes never came down on the top and made minimal contact on the sides. Hood, Windshield, bed cover and tailgate untouched. The attendant was great and went back through. Again the top brush never came down and most of the brushes barely touched. Attendant says it’s a known problem with Jeeps. Definitely should be made aware of this before paying $30.

Last time in, I had new/bigger tires installed that required spacers to properly fit — ordered all the parts myself and they were fine with me shipping that stuff directly to the shop. Yates Auto literally saved me thousands of dollars and restored my faith in car repairs, which in this economy is absolutely invaluable! I was at the point of considering buying another car because my vehicle (2017 Hyundai Elantra) seemed beyond saving. A sister shop of Yates Auto had worked on my car, and while their team was very pleasant to work with, after three attempts and about $1,000 spent, it became clear they were unable to pinpoint the issue. Disappointment was setting in. That’s when they graciously provided me with a loaner car—completely free of charge—and took my car to Yates Automotive in Alexandria for another look. Joey and his team at Yates Auto worked a miracle! Not only did they successfully repair my car, but Joey kept me updated throughout the entire process. His professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail stood out. On top of that, they went the extra mile by changing the oil and even delivering my car directly to my house. At no point did I feel like they were trying to upcharge or take advantage of me—everything felt transparent when dealing with Joey. They were able to rectify the issue without additional costs due to the back and forth experienced at the sister shop. Even then, every member of the staff at both locations treated me with respect and kindness. Thanks to Yates Auto, I avoided the enormous expense of purchasing a new car and can confidently rely on my current vehicle. As long as I’m in Virginia, Yates Auto has earned my loyalty. If I could give 0 stars I would. The one star is for the customer service and nice employee when I first arrived. For $20 (which was a deal they had if you signed up for the membership) my car got merely brushed by the machine. It was a minute at most wash through a washer that you can go through at a gas station. I was so excited because of the location but sadly dissatisfied and had to go to my usual car wash location 30 min away. Not worth the money. Luckily I requested a refund and cancelled my membership. The customer service agent through email responded quickly.

Horrible washing service, I paid $30 for a one time wash which did absolutely nothing to clean my car. I went back to get it washed a second time immediately after because i was upset at the quality. The second wash was just as useless as the first. Never going back, this was a waste of time and money. Way overpriced. Pics are after my second wash, still covered in grime from wet leaves(my car is a 2024, these are not old stains). My car sat on the street parked for 2 weeks while i was out of town, collected some grime from falling leaves and storm weather.

Car wash seemed to be nice as we approached but then we didn’t see a price sign. The person who approached us didn’t give us a price they had to open our doors and inspect the inside and out to give us a price. Arrived 4:15 We just came out of the car wash 4:30pm Monday 22nd July 2024. Paid $55 for inside / outside (NO Trunk cleaning) We had smudges still on the car. The inside car display dash was still full of fingerprints. Back seat still had debris. Doors were not wiped down properly. Maybe they had a bad day? We’re not going there again. Disappointed our first experience was a bad one.

Came in at 11 am, asked for a regular car wash, paid, waited until 12:50 pm before asking how much longer because I have a doctor’s appointment at 1:30 pm. They told me another hour… so 3 hours for a regular car wash?? No thanks, never again. Yes it was a Saturday but it was not that busy. They’re putting customers ordering a detail in the same queue as customers ordering a regular car wash. Not everyone wants to wait 3 hours for a regular car wash like me. Maybe tell me that before I pay so I can decide whether that’s something I’m interested in.
