So, James breathed new life into my 9 year old Subaru Outback. There were scratches from the hood to the trunk, they’re all gone now. He said he’d take care of my foggy headlights, done! My rims look brand new! The interior, great job. He even repaired my sunglasses holder, not a part of the detailing. It cost $$$$, but it was worth it after 9-10 years of never having my car detailed. I think I might keep it for a few more years!

They did an awesome job on my car! I asked for the minimum package on the detailing job and I am blown away at how beautiful it is. They truly took their time and made sure I was satisfied with the results. I forgot to take a before and after but needless to say my car WAS DIRTY. I paid about $120 for the detail but I would have paid more for how well they did so I gave a good tip. I truly appreciate all their hard work for their service. Oh. my. God. This place is AWESOME! Got a car from a friend that was FUNKY on the inside because the sunroof was leaking and it sat for a year. Inside was nauseating. Smelled like something crawled in there and DIED. These guys are MIRACLE WORKERS. MIRACLE WORKERS I tell ya. They got the smell out. THEY GOT ALL THE MOLD AND STAINS OUT. I accused them of swapping my car out with a different one - IT'S THAT FREAKING CLEAN. This was AMAZING. Seriously. Don't know if they have a magic wand or what, but THIS .... oh lawdy.... THIS IS SSOOOO fantastic! Here's picture proof! Worth every penny AND a $40 dollar tip! You MUST take your car there... they are the ANSWER for your funky car problems. This would have been worth TWICE the money I paid.

I was looking to get my mom’s car detailed for her birthday. I looked on Detail City’s website and liked what I saw so I gave them a call a few days later. No answer. Drove to the business. Appeared abandoned. Nothing indicating that a “Detail City” was ever there. I called the number again. No answer so I left a message. Right after that, I got a call back from a man named Darren (I think). He told me the building was being upgraded and that the business had temporarily moved to a different location (why not put a note on the garage door telling customers that?) He told me Detail City was mainly doing mobile detailing at the moment. I asked him for the address to the temporary location because I wasn’t interested in mobile detailing. He somehow had no idea of the address and said he would call me back. Now at this point (8.27.22), Detail City’s website had disappeared without explanation. As of today (9.4.22) it is back up. Unsurprisingly, I never got a call back. I went to Speed Clean Services on 14 Mile and Kelly in Clinton Township and my mom got an amazing detail from a business that had itself together. Website up, a real building and a receptionist (who actually knew what was going on). I am giving one star for the runaround and real lack of information I received as an inquiring potential customer. I cannot comment on the quality of their service because I never even got to the point of receiving it. Detail City, do better. Hopefully for you guys, this was a one-off.

I stopped by after driving through the snowstorm the night before. I had lots of snow up in the wheel wells. I paid for the most expensive wash and they spent extra time power washing the snow out. I really appreciated it. At highway speeds the car shook and removing the snow/ice fixed the problem.

Bought a used truck from an older gentleman who left the interior quite a mess with 26 years worth of stains and grime. Aidan came out and was actually a few minutes early! He had 95% of the stains out and the truck looking as good as new within two hours! Can’t beat the price, punctuality, and quality of his work. The photos speak for themselves. I had a turkey fly into my driver’s side window while traveling at speed on M-23, and glass was EVERYWHERE! Paul came to my house and spent extra time making sure to get all the glass out of every part of the car! He even steamed the car seat for my toddler! Old grumpy employee complained because I used my card to get a 5 dollar rinse because I did want a full wash just a rinse but I wanted to use my 10 cash to tip the towel dryers But he was such an ass I would never go there again and I used to go there probably four or five times a month in the summer time and always got the $9 wash like I said I only got the rent because I just wanted to rinse the salty white stuff off of my car didn't even really want to wash it just wanted to rinse it off But yeah they lost a great customer a great tipping customer at that

**UPDATED** After a few days back and forth through email, Carolyn finally came through and was able to adjust my purchase so I now have the membership. The process to get here was really frustrating, the miscommunication took a lot but it all worked out. I would still recommend that if you're purchasing something, get a receipt, get an email confirmation, check and double check that you get what you asked for. Original 1-Star Review: Went back to Jax after a long time, I just wanted a single wash, but the girl let me know for a few dollars more I could get a full month of washes, why not go for it? Well, after several tries, she could not get her little iPad to accept my cars, she had me pull over off to the side and after about 15 to 20 minutes of trying and processing , (and ending up being late for work) I finally said never mind don’t use my card. Here is cash, handed her the money to activate my membership (or so, I thought) and she sent me on my way. Now that I have a “membership” I went back to go get another car wash today, and the kid is telling me I do not have a membership? That I haven’t had one active since 2023? Excuse me, I just purchased one a week ago. So that chick took my money, gave me a basic car wash, and now isn’t even there to answer for it. And this teenage kid is the only one there right now, running a complete car wash business all by himself. That doesn’t make any sense to me. If they talk you into spending extra for the membership, check, double check, and triple check that it is actually activated before you leave! They might just be taking your money and lying to you!

My car is still dirty. Who should have to get out of their car and inspect the job that is done, especially when you physically can't wash your own car. So that's why you're going to spend $10 and something that did not even clean my car. And then you go to the website and it doesn't accept your cell number. Shady shady. I will never return.

I brought my vehicle to Chris on the recommendation of my cousin. Upon meeting him, he was just as described -- down to earth and clearly passionate about his work. I had Chris paint my calipers, as well as apply a three year ceramic coating ahead of the winter to come. He immediately went to work on it, seemingly non-stop, despite the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. He maintained communication and sent pictures during said time. A few days later, my car was done and never looked better. As my cousin, and others have mentioned in prior reviews, Chris has an excellent attention to detail that is befitting to his line of work. He takes pride in what he does and it comes through in dialogue and his work. He treats your car like his own.

He told me he seen the stains on the inside roof of my car and that he started cleaning it but due to the fact I didn't tell him to clean it he didn't finish it. Then tried to charge me an extra $20 to set a appointment to get it cleaned the next day. Other than that he did a great job.

This place has gone down the drain. Stopped by a couple days ago to rinse off my car. Put in $3.00 thinking that is all I need. Nope, I was wrong. Ended up spending $7.00 just to rinse my car off because there was not enough pressure coming out. The water kept surging. My garden hose at home has more pressure. They raise their prices, but cut the time you get and prober service. There parking lot is crumbling. Pretty sad.

I spoke to Google and asked for the nearest $5 car wash. This car was was the closest. HOWEVER, it was NOT $5. But, it was worth $12 TOUCHLESS & UNATTENDED. All computer automation. The ONLY thing I didn't like was not getting a towel dry OR A COMPLETE DRYING from the machine. It says drive slow, I was coasting out, and still it wasn't completely dry. Which attracted dust/dry while driving home and water markers after I got home. BUT the $12 wash was worth it. 🤩

Chris did an interior/exterior clean/wash on my Audi and it came out like-new beautiful. However, my cat uses the car as her playground and her jumping on the car caused a forest of scratches. I asked Chris if I brought the car to him another time did he think he could fix the damage. His confident response - "Absolutely!" He then decided to prove it and pulled out his tools. AMAZING result! He rejuvenated that portion (see pics) of the paint's finish as if my cat had been born declawed! Chris earned a lifelong client. How he manages to get inside my rims where it’s difficult to reach is beyond me but he does it! And the time it takes him to do the work well it incomprehensible. The pictures can do all the talking! Great price and expert care. Antonio took care of me start to finish. I could tell he was serious about detailing. Super friendly and did such a great job. If you get a new car you must ceramic coat it! The earlier the better (also easier for them when it’s new so it saves some money). He also made sure to tell me if I happen to find any issues to bring it right back and they will make sure it’s fixed no problem. Highly recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I visited this car wash on (01/08/25) and selected the $5 wash option. Initially, I was concerned when my credit card showed a $10 charge. However, after two days, I realized that I was only charged the correct amount of $5. The wash itself was excellent, and my car looks great! I recommend this car wash and suggest that the owner ensures the machine displays the correct charge to avoid any confusion for customers.

Do not waste your money. I attempted to have an automatic car wash at this location. My payment was taken and I entered the car wash and the initial spray was done but then the wash stopped. I attempted to notify the owner per the phone number identified with this location but the number is disconnected. I had to give 1 star to allow the post...but this deserves less than that
