I brought my car here for interior detailing and the service was great (both the quality of cleaning and the people I interacted with). I was planning on sitting in their waiting area to do some remote work while getting the detailing done, but unfortunately their office power was out at the moment so that wasn't possible. The owner AMAZINGLY offered to give me a ride back to my home, so I didn't have to get a taxi or wait around for the detailing to be finished. They clearly put in a lot of hard work and care about what they are doing, and I've never had a place go above and beyond like that before. Will definitely be back if my car ever needs detailing again.

I cannot recommend Motor City Detail for an interior car detail. I won’t give this place a 1 star because at the end of the day my truck was cleaner than when I dropped it off, but I wouldn’t consider it detailed. I had a terrible experience with them. I took in my truck to have an interior detail which they charged $170.99 and a non-negotiable additional pet charge of $59.99 “because it takes extra time to vacuum and blow the carpet,” not remove all the pet hair. All the pictures attached are the results after the first detail. They told me that the center console was left alone because there were personal belongings in there, and as pictured, I had 2 charging cables in there. It was upsetting because before the detail was started, I was told that any personal items would be bagged and ready to collect at the end of the cleaning. These were the only 2 personal items I had in the entire cab and didn’t think it was a big enough issue to skip cleaning the entire interior console. I also thought it was appalling to leave that much water in the center console and they left a whole section of the truck unvacuumed. I told them I was unhappy with the job, so they came out to do a second detail while I was at work. Didn’t text or call to let me know they were there, like they said they would. Once they finished the detail, they couldn’t be bothered to leave me a voicemail or text message saying they were finished. Instead they tried calling me 4 times while I was in a meeting within the span of 5 minutes, parked my truck where they found it and left. I still found the driver side cubby wasn’t even vacuumed out. After paying that amount, I would expect more attention to detail, especially after discussing my experience with others and they said they had better results with much less of a cost and headache.

I purchased a new vehicle and wanted to protect it against our Michigan weather. I had it undercoated/rust protection and Ceramic Coated. Even though it was a new vehicle just purchased off the lot , it had scratches all through the paint. Check out the photo's. Joe the owner had me discuss with is daughter Erin to rub out the paint before she ceramic coated and what a job she did! My Ram 3500 truck looks absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Novi Car and Truck! Great people to work with that you can trust.

Came in to get my mk7.5 GTI some tints as it was definitely looking like a fishbowl. The guys at precision managed to transform the look of my car with the ceramic tints all around including the windshield. Not only does it offer more privacy but once the summertime heat comes around it will keep the car nice and cool. Also, paired with the red paint, the blacked out windows just make it look so much more proper now. Definitely recommend these guys if you’re in need of some tint work done.

Wow! I am super happy that I found Damian and Exquisite Auto Care, this past summer! I knew he was different from other detailing places I have worked with, when he would NOT give me a preliminary quote over the phone. Said he had to see the vehicle in order to be accurate as to what the vehicle needed done. And when I met him and listened to what he explained, I knew this was a man who knew his business and loves making vehicles ‘POP’ when he and his crew are done with them. I now have had two vehicles done and again, absolutely the best work I have ever experienced! The results are spectacular as is the ‘attention to detail’. I went to Exquisite Car Care looking for a detailing of my 2019 Chevy Equinox….I had been looking for about a year….always something turned me away…timing, process, staff, available options for detailing. Damian immediately gave me a pleasant welcome….before going any further, he wanted to see my Equinox, asking what I wanted. I didn’t realize all of my options which he soon explained with the pricing. I choose all and am very pleased. I now know why the word detailing is used in this process. Every little corner was cleaned including the engine compartment. As I walked up I could see the shining of the polished sheet metal, all the little scratches that a car picks up in its life were gone. The interior was GREAT…the lettering on the dashboard was like it was reprinted a bright white…the steering wheel looked and felt like new😊😊😊.

I discovered this car wash because they offered a free car wash to teachers during teacher appreciation week (which I very much appreciated!). They did such a nice job that it’s one of the car washes I come back to regularly. Their prices are reasonable and I’m always happy with the time they take to clean the hard to reach places in my car before going through the wash. Definitely give this place a try!

Disappointed.... Paid $18 mainly for the underfloor rinse. However you can see a lot of dust on the liftgate area and some dusts on the bumper lower. These dusts are clearly on the surface and i expected them to be cleaned by the underbody rinse. Not sure if the underbody is rinsed or not. I know it can't clear all the sticky stuffs on the paint but at least the dust on the surface should be cleaned. Anyway a bad experience for me at least doesn't work for my case(subaru OB)

Update Oct 2024: For the summer we cancelled our subscription since we weren't going by as often. Then I got our truck washed this week with the Turbo Wash and was so disappointed. Multiple pieces of the car wash weren't working and our truck only got partially clean. Living on a dirt road I know it's a tall order and I never expect it to look detailed, but I wish I hadn't wasted my money since it looks worse now than it did. Decreasing my star review as a result. Pictures are attached. Feb 2024: We really liked this carwash and decided to do a monthly subscription to their top tier. The only downside, is that often the employees only lightly spray the drivers side of our vehicle and don't touch the passenger side. We've also noticed that a few times the spinning towels on the sides of the vehicle don't get close enough to actually dry our vehicle. The vacuums are very nice, but earlier this week, one of the sides didn't have any suction. We also haven't found the mat cleaners to work at all.

In general I am pleased with Motor City Express Car Wash. A few areas of concern are that most of the pre-wash employees never spray the passenger side of vehicle. Can’t they spray the passenger side first then input the proper wash assignment before spraying the front, driver side and rear of vehicle? Also there have been a lot of non-working brushes and drying wheels lately. Gets disappointing paying for a service but only getting “half” the service. Considering finding a new car wash because of it.

Great business strategy. A true hybrid car wash methodology where automated machine wash however in person look into the details and they do that dry towel wipe as well. I like their vacuum systems area as well as they are cleaning equipment, wiping equipment and cleaning sprays free of charge the membership is truly a great value for money. I can see the expandinga lot lately is because they’re great car wash service and good products They also have interior membership or one one time, but not all the locations have interior so when I need interior wash, I go to West Bloomfield or Royal Oak just for exterior wash. After going to both Walled Lake locations, I realize this is the better one. Even the employees are nicer, and the guy drying off my car in front even lifted the wiper blades. I would avoid the Pontiac Trail location until they can find a new general manager. that will properly oversee day-to-day operations, and make sure all steps are completed regardless of how extremely busy it is.

I bought a Genesis GV70 and it has the matte blue finish. This would get damaged in regular car washes. I hired these guys and I have been happy with the service. They come to my house and my car looks great when they are done with it. They are very consistent and reliable. They do a lot of detail work, like, they stripe the car mats! Get your car detailed with Moe’s, you won’t regret it!

Staff is super friendly. Had a lot of bird poop and bugs on the car from going up north. They told us we can go through twice if needed to get everything off. They also have a vacuum area, which offers two kinds of vacuum heads, air machine to top off your tires, and clean microfiber towels and solution to do touchups and clean off your windows. Overall, a very good experience and well worth $8!

So sad, fantastic idea and place but terrible owner/management personnel are instructed to harass you for proof of paid car wash even if you have a paid current sticker for monthly washes. Barcode reader doesn’t work in drive thru so they had to look my sticker up by name, the employee didn’t register my vehicle and the place tried to deny me. This place is awful. Finally, I had some gunk on my car near wheels and specifically asked if we could try to get it off because I couldn’t & they said they would but did not. Not sure why you’d go to a place like this.

Don’t go here!!! I would gives 0 stars if I could…wishing I had read the reviews first… the wash didn’t even reach all places on the vehicle, obvious places were still dirty. Also, the dryer didn’t even dry the car I had to get out and really dry the car myself and on top of that, the dryer (which literally rolls on your car with little rollers on it) scratched up the driver side of my truck and of course they’re gonna say they’re not liable because they have a sign but what kind of business has equipment that damages vehicles and doesn’t try to make up for it in any way or change anything…it’s clearly an old system that needs updating. Don’t waste your time or $ especially if you have a nice vehicle.

I hate to say this but I tipped the guys before the wash and the guys drying the car and then paid $3 for tire shine, which is so useless at this place. NEVER AGAIN. I took my minivan to Larry to apply a ceramic coating after spending many years DIY detailing previous vehicles. Time will tell how long the coating holds up, but I was very impressed with how thorough a job Larry did. I contacted Lakes Detailing to have my husband's car detailed as a surprise gift for him while he was at work. I spilled an entire 20 oz. travel mug of coffee all over my front passenger seat on my drive in to work. I called and Larry managed to fit me in that afternoon to extract the excess liquid out of my seat and clean it. He charged a very fair rate for this service too. Went to Bay 3 on 9/01/24 and swiped my card for $3.00 wash. Machine noises started then nothing. Swiped my card again for $3.00. Machine noises then nothing. Checked my account and these crooked thieves charged me $10.00 and the wash never started!! Called the number and no answer, no service. $10.00 for NOTHING.

I had an excellent experience at Prestige Detailing. Davis did a fantastic job. I had a level 2 detail done to my 2010 Ford Sport Trac. It completely transformed the look to my vehicle. The paint looks better than new. The old interior was handled with extreme care and brought back to life. I love how Davis walked me back into the shop and showed me everything he did. It made me feel how much he cares about the final product and about his customers. I highly recommend Davis and Prestige Detail. I will be taking my truck there every year.

Truly a five star experience at Prestige Detail from start to end! Davis and his team are excellent. We did Paint Protection Film (PPF) on everything forward of A pillar (hood, bumper, etc.), the level 3 Ceramic package (full exterior plus wheel barrels and faces), Ceramic tint on front windows to match rears, and finally clear (70%) ceramic tint windshield to reduce UV heat. These guys are meticulous and go the extra mile- right down to taking wheels off to airbrush on the ceramic coating. We could not be happier and look forward to returning for detailing. Some background: We acquired a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe which had a ‘Satin Matte’ finish, which you can’t take through a car wash, and there was a small blemish on the door that became burnished (shiny) from dealership folks rubbing it. Looked up a few places to call and consult with, and Davis was a kind wealth of knowledge who was eager to educate me and answer all my questions. Learned really fast through amazing education by Davis, and the internet, that fixing scratches/blemishes on Satin paint jobs pretty much equates to repainting the panel, and it will never match. The industry body shop standard is to repaint one entire side of a vehicle so the miss-match is less obvious to the eye. Future me may never go Matte/Satin again but for now we wanted to help protect the paint job and make washing / maintenance less burdensome. To that end we went with the full Ceramic treatment. Ceramic coating wasn't going to help rock chips or heavy impact, so knowing paint issues aren’t really fixable we went with PPF for the front clip. Prestige Detail also taught me how fundamentally different, see superior, ceramic tinting is over ‘carbon’ tint film. I’ve had five or six cars with front window tint that matches rears and seeing out through them, especially in rain, has always been a challenge at night, with the ceramic the visibility is incredible. I’m a changed man! We had some damage to our current lease that is due back soon and Davis was able to steer me on options, and give me a cost idea on repair to weigh against the excess damage charge I calculated. The thing I appreciated most of all is how well Davis sets expectations, and communicates the finer points so there’s no assumptions.

Very disappointed by the $22 wash I paid for. Multiple spots on car were still very dirty after the wash. And the two gentleman wiping down the vehicle should have noticed this and done something about it. Definitely will not return, and will find a car wash that actually cleans my car.

They did a great job with the carpet in my vehicle. The seats were cleaner than when I brought the car to them, but they "touched them up" the following morning, which meant that there were water stains on the seat when they dried because the entire seat hadn't been dampened uniformly, and the fabric on these stock Honda seats is somewhat particular, which I had notified them of before drop off. The floor mats looked beautiful, were cleaned well and then had a shiny spray applied so it looked really nice. Unfortunately the screen was very dirty when I picked it up and the rearview mirror had never been touched. Additionally, they left debris in the console, around the edges of the console and in the shifting buttons. Overall they did a good job, but not a great job. For $125, it seems like a lot they missed when they had my car for two days. They were very pleasant at pick up.
