I never had my car thoroughly detailed before, so I wanted to find a place that was going to do a good job. I've been wanting to get my car detailed for weeks so I spent hours researching multiple detailing companies. I came across Fresh Layer’s website and my instincts immediately kicked in. Especially since they offer ozone treatment and sanitization, which was exactly what I was looking for. I felt very confident booking! I did some research on detailing places that specifically took pride in their work. I was also specifically looking for someone to do a proper strip wash and paint correction process on it with a dual action polisher to get the swirls out. Angel was the tech who worked on my car and he was very detail oriented. They were up front about how long it would take, their process, etc. The car came out fantastic. Inside and out it was cleaned very thoroughly. No more swirls! No road grime! No brake dust on the wheels! Just good clean paint and a really nice deep polish on it. Used a light bar on it to confirm the great polish application. Angel is a really great guy and the team at Genesis Detailing did a great job. The price seems fair for the work done as well. Intend on leveraging their services a few times a year to stay on top of the car's looks. I look forward to dropping the car off in the future and more importantly, picking it up when it's spotless ;).

11/23/2024 UPDATE - CAR LOOKS PHENOM! It's 3 weeks or so after my pretty thorough detail. I was walking to the car, as you see it pictured and thought... ..."I can't believe how good this car looks!!!" (I have not washed it since the detail). This to me is the true sign of quality work. Thank you, Nick and Angel! (I've attached some pics taken 11/22/2024) --- Original review 11/01/2024 - ish I don't know sh*t about detailing and paint and I hate car related spends. Came into a very well maintained, pedestrian, red metallic Lexus IS 250, that had a history with Nick and his team. Walked into the shop and saw a Ferrari, two Bentley's and a 1957 Bel Air that was in original, cherry, factory shape, both interior and ext. I figured they could properly service my pedestrian Lexus, lol. Angel (who did the work most excellently) suggested the clay and polish, in addition to the normal detail and wax they had been doing to this car and said he'd confer with Nick, the owner. Car looks great, and when getting clay'd probably best to pay for professional expertise so one's clear coat doesn't get taken to the Salvage Army. Shop is clean and looks very well organized. I recommend Nick and Angel as experienced pros. The cheapest price is NEVER the best deal.

If I could give 10 stars, I would!! Devin detailed my car, had an interested buyer 20 min after I listed it, and I sold it just 2 hours later!!! My little Camry had been with me all over the country, quite literally to almost every single state, dozens of national parks, etc and I am a full time pet sitter, so I had tons of dog hair and dirt in the back. I’ll be the first to admit I didn’t take great care of my car and stained the seats, along with the aforementioned dog hair and dirt. I spilled things, I brought dirt in on my shoes, and drove down plenty of dirt roads where the gravel came up and made tiny scratches on the paint. Devin had my car looking BRAND NEW after about 6 hours. It smelled fantastic as well. I could not believe how incredible it looked and am over the moon with the result. Summary of my experience at Hand Upon: 1. Daniel was willing to take the time to educate me on the options for my new Bronco. We arrived at a blend of PPF and ceramic that worked for my needs - there were never any "sales tactics" used. 2. I got several quotes from other businesses in the area - Hand Upon was the best value based on what I was getting for my $$. 3. Daniel obviously loves cars. We spent >15 minutes just talking about my car (and cars in general ) when I was at drop off. 4. Daniel frequently updated me throughout the process AND as questions came up (do you want this or that?) he asked right away and kept me involved with the decisions. 5. He had the car ready when he said he would. 6. He delivered great results inside and out. The Bronco looks GREAT! Overall, I am very happy with my choice to use Hand Upon. I went to another detailing place and they told me they could not detail my car due to the upcoming rain. I really needed the inside detailed so I tried Lee’s which was a street away. I ended up booking the “LeeTail” Special wash for a mobile detailing. Lee was very professional, calling me ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. He took a look at my car and asked what I was actually wanting from this detailing, and offered me some other options. I still went with the LeeTail and let me tell you! LEE KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK. I have never had my car detailed after 5 years of owning it and I knew it was gnarly which Lee was honest about as well. My car is unrecognizable and looks like I got it from the dealer again! I am so so thankful I went with Lee’s! I will be selling my car soon and this cleaning will definitely help. CLEAN! I tried my hand at detailing my motorcycle and caused a mishap using an orbital polisher and creating swirl marks all over my gas tank. Elias was able to take ALL of the swirl marks out and made my bike look like new! With my busy schedule, it's hard to find time to clean my bike, so it's nice to have a reputable mobile company come out to my office. Booking was easy and I received a callback & text within 30 minutes. On the day of your service, you're given a text with a link to be able to chat using their app service with your detail technician. What a great feature! John was great! I had a 3 year old hot chocolate stain in my passenger seat and it’s completely vanished. And he took care of a little paint stain buffing on the side of my car for a small additional fee. The car feels like new! He had a really positive attitude as well and did a great job. Super easy booking process and very communicative, pricing was reasonable to me as well. Highly recommend to anyone looking to detail their car!

Excellent service! Highly recommend John and Dapper Pros. John came to my house and cleaned the inside and outside of my SUV, which was VERY dirty from many (almost daily) beach trips. John did an amazing job. The inside of my car looked new! I can’t believe that he was able to get all of the sand and particles that were in the small crevices between the seats out! He also suggested a type of mat I could get (from Costco) to keep the sand from getting in the mats/flooring in the car. He was able to get me scheduled with very little notice, communicated well with me regarding when he would arrive and did a thorough job!. I am very pleased! Prior to scheduling, I was reluctant to use the service because I though the price was too much; however, given the quality of work he did and how long he spent him cleaning my car, it was definitely worth it. He did a much better job (much better value) than I what I have gotten from local full-service car washes that don’t pay nearly as much attention to detail; not to mention, I didn’t need to leave my house and wait at a car wash. I will definitely use them again!!

Recently I decided to give my car some TLC because it had been vandalized. The door was kicked in. Lame. I saw a Hillbilly Detailing on an ad on Instagram. I contacted them and they were very responsive and full of information. Any question I had about the scratches or dents he had either the answer to my questions or he would point me in the right direction for resources. We went over what I was hoping to achieve through this process. I decided I wanted the 10yr Ceramic Coating. I won't have this car for 10 years but I want to keep it protected as long as I have it. And it adds value to your resale because its reported in Carfax. Fast forward to coating day. I had asked them to come to my place of employment in the parking lot. That was my mistake becuase the security of the building asked them to leave! So they politely packed up all the equipment and took my car down the street in a secluded area all the while keeping me informed on what is going on. After the detailing was complete. They let me know right away and delivered my car back to the parking lot. They did an amazing job! I am very happy with the results! Wasn't long and we had a rainstorm. Took it to the touchless car wash and all the dirt just slid right off at the wash and after a towel dry it was perfect again. And we put a coating on the windows. Have you ever tried to put Rainex on your windows? What a pain! Water beads right off them now. For the 10-year coating, it sounds a little expensive but if you think about how many times you get it washed and waxed and you want life to be a little easier, this is the way to go. You also get a warrantee on your coating too! Hillbilly will give it a once over and access any spots that wear off for some reason or have damage to keep it looking great and get your money's worth. In conclusion, I am very satisfied with the job they completed. The Detailing was top notch. The customer service couldn't have been better. Charles and his techs, take a lot of pride in his company and the service they provide. I am happy I went with them instead of the other companies I was shopping.

I came here for a full detail before putting my 18-year-old car up for private sale, and they did an exceptional job at an unbeatable price. My car had not been washed in months and I was worried that there would be permanent damage to the satin white vinyl wrap, but with some problem solving, they were able to get everything off and looking the best I’ve ever seen it! The wheel polish looks amazing, and was not something I was expecting or knew was possible. The pictures I took for the listing looked amazing, and I was able to sell the car within 3 days of posting it for the asking price. I had the deluxe auto detail with them for my SUV. I just purchased this vehicle post deployment. I noticed quite a bit of nasty stuff wedged between the buttons on the center console among other things. They did an AMAZING job with this vehicle. The interior looks like NEW-like I just drove it off the lot brand new. I generally keep my car clean so this will provide a great starting point. Ceramic Window Tinting... The Scrubs team is amazing. Very knowledgeable professionals that treat you and your automobile with respect and expertise. Answered all my questions without hesitation with reassuring confidence. I'm on day 4 and the tint has adhered well and looks flawless. The back and back side windows were factory tinted, which I wanted darker. They met me a couple of days earlier than the install date and went over the different shade darkness percentages. We went darker on the front sides and less on the back to even the tone. Very happy and now have the perfect company for my automobile detailing.

Had my “new” (used, but new to me) car detailed this morning by RJ and another detailed (I didn’t get his name… sorry!) and they worked really hard and did an awesome job on my interior! They even left me a car tree freshener. Michael did a great job. I called him and he was able to give me a time that worked for us both the very next day. He came out and did a great job making my wife’s vehicle look brand new. He also took time to explain what he was using and doing so we could take the best care of our car in the future. This is for my friend who called and had an appointment and they never showed up. When she called them to find out what was going on they hung up on her and eventually blocked her so she couldn't post a negative review. So, this is how she gets around that. We have no idea if they are any good when the do decide to show up, so use them at your own risk, or skip this step and just hire someone else instead.

One of One did an amazing job wrapping my particularly difficult BMW G87 M2 in stealth PPF. I am extremely happy with the results. The wrap looks flawless around the curves and tucked in at the seams. They are also extremely flexible with scheduling as I had to delay them multiple times while awaiting delivery of my new vehicle. I was honestly really disappointed with my car when it was done. It was as clean as if I had taken it to a regular car wash. My car was really dirty before, and he said it might cost extra, which I said I was willing to pay. But he didn’t charge me the extra and didn’t clean it well. I made sure to take everything out of the arm rest and glove box but they didn’t even get a quick vacuum. All the nooks and crannies still have grime.

I've aquired their services many times in the past and now I don't go with anyone else. They always leave my car spotless, like new. My lil Honda had been sitting for a while collecting dirt and grime as well as dust on the inside. I thought my paint was damaged and stained at this point. Golden palms offered to buff & polish the paint & fully detail the interior and once it was done, I was amazed at how fresh and clean it looked now. I didn't even think the rims could look that new again. I highly recommend for all your mobile detailing needs. 💯 Good-looking out!

TLDR; Amazing job, my Miata ended up spotless. Henry came in clutch at the last second. My car was filthy. 2019 Miata hadn't been washed in months, after a long trip from Texas. Dusty, dirty... it was bad. The laws in California make it quite a bit harder for me to wash my own car like I used to. It was time to call in a professional. I dropped my car off in the morning, and it was all done in about 3 hours for a full detail. Let me tell you, the pictures cannot give you a representation of how good my car looked. Hadn't been so clean in months. I would spend all day detailing my car and it still didn't look as good after 3 hours at SoCal ADC. I guess that's why they're pros! Interior had a smell that I couldn't explain, it just felt so clean. Exterior was smooth as glass. Cheaper than many other quotes I got, and overall had great customer service and was incredibly helpful. Even gave me some tips to keep my car clean in between details. I would recommend his shop to anyone, and in fact already have. Nearly a week later daily driving and she's still spotless. It's worth it!!

I brought my brand new Rivian in for a full ceramic coating. Henry provided top notch service from his responsiveness, flexibility and attention to detail. My new truck came out looking better than new, literally. The paint had more sparkle in it, than before. Amazing! brought the car back a couple weeks later and Henry took the time to show me how to properly take care of the ceramic finish. Seeing how the dirt came right off with water is proof how great this coat is. If you're looking for someone who will take care of you're vehicle like it was their own, look no further. I brought my newly purchased 2017 Corvette to Elite Finish. Despite having only 21,000 miles, the paint was in rough shape from frequent automatic car washes, leaving it covered in scratches and swirls. Miguel and his staff did a phenomenal job on my Tacoma. His prices are more than reasonable, and the level of meticulousness is unmatched. In the short time I’ve watched them detail my truck, I've seen them use clean towel after clean towel; even their water is filtered to avoid hard water on our vehicles. For San Diego, you cannot beat the price, and even if you go elsewhere and pay triple, they will not match the level of detail that Miguel puts into it. It is so good that I even wrote a review, and I never leave reviews. I will post the photo of the truck after; I wish I had taken a picture before.
