I've been wanting to detail my car for a while, so after some research I decided to go with them. Absolutely easy scheduling, then the technician was not only on time, but he provided great service. He worked hours on my car and made interior and exterior very nice and like new. They are extremely professional and took care of it like it's their own. The manager also reached out to me after just to make sure i was satisfied with their work. I would recommend their services to anyone looking to bringing your cars paint back to life.

Peter and the crew did an amazing and efficient job with the cleaning. They came to my house and were able to hook into an outlet and water source. Got backed into and was left with a minor scratch that I needed to get taken care of. If I’m not mistaken, Mike helped us and was so kind - he rubbed out the scratch and waxed it free of charge. Complete Detail Completely Missed the Details! Do NOT bring your car here. I purchased the Complete Detailed (outside an in) for $330 and am extremely disappointed. When I walked up to get my car, there was still a huge bird poop on the hood they hadn't even removed until I pointed it out. That was just the start. The front was still riddled with bug spatters and stains as though it hadn't even been washed. And it looked like it hadn't been waxed either, despite the description says clay and polish. I complained and started pointing out all the places they missed and then they gave me a hard time about pointing out their errors. They finally gave me a $30 discount, bringing the total down to $300 for what should have been a $100 job at most. Total rip-off; you don't get what the website says. Finally, I dropped my car off at my apt time of 930. They told me it would be done at 4pm so I could pick up my kid. It wasn't finished until 445pm. I had tried calling at 330pm to get an ETA and no one even answered or called me back. (The owner commented below my frustration was due to them being late, but like the quality of the work, that is simply false. Pls see the attached pictures of their 'detailed' work for yourself.)

Ok, so these guys did as good a job as one can expect from a quicky car wash. The problem was that the job was not quick at all. What should have taken 15-20 minutes took one and a half hours! There were just three guys working, I repeat, just three, so no matter how hard they tried, and they did, the line of cars just kept growing. Peoples Car Wash needs to hire more people. PS. Great experience working with René, He responded immediately to my voice mail, and showed up on time to wash my car. (He was also able to wash a neighbor's car last minute, which was really great.) I just had the basic wash and vacuum done, and my old car looks brand new! Everything is gleaming and shiny, and the windows are spotless. Brought my grimy 14 year old Prius (Alphonse), covered with peeling stickers, into be detailed. On the back seat there was a black streak of something -- maybe grease? -- going across the whole seat. You should see him now! He's still 14 years old, but he sparkles. No remnants of the stickers. Back seat stain completely gone!

My wife brought her new car through this car wash and now has multiple light and slightly deeper scratches to the hood, sides, and back. When she brought this to their attention via email, they stated that when people get their cars washed, that scratches are "often discovered" (as in it wasn't their car wash that did it). Her car was new and had not been washed yet. All the scratched are in a "swirl" pattern, just like how the brushes go in the car wash. As she was in the car, she said that the brushes were so aggressive that they were shaking the car a lot. Got a refund for the package she bought, but let this be a warning to anyone who wants to use this establishment.

I just tried out this relatively new Solar Car Wash location today after attempting to go to the location on University Ave, but the line was backed up for whatever reason (I think the automatic car wash was broken?). I chose the Basic Wash for $12. You can add a self-vacuum service for $3 but I didn’t need it. But the area for this seems very neat and spacious! I was super impressed with the employee who seemed to be on deck and available to answer any questions. She was very helpful, especially since it was my first time. Then, another employee helped me get onto the conveyor belt properly and clearly told me to put the car in neutral. I was then carried through the car wash with ease and I found it to be very thorough cleaning process! The University Ave location doesn’t have a drying function so I was pleased to see that this one did. And to top it all off, an employee was at the end of the car wash with towels and he proceeded to wipe down my car! I did not expect this extra step at all, but highly appreciate it because usually that’s something I’d do on my own once I get home. I’ll definitely be back again for my next car wash and highly recommend this to anyone! Great value for the service, organization, and excellent results!

Worst car wash I have been to! Car is not clean, and licence plate got damaged. So much rubbing of brushes will scratch your car. Also no vacuums whatsoever. Solar car wash down the street is the place to go!

I went to Markato for the first time today and it was referred to me by my friend. They were AMAZING! I just bought a new car a month ago and so was eager to get my car back to her pristine glory lol. They did a great job! She looked exactly how she did when I drove her off the lot! They were super efficient, my car was ready in a timely manner (an hour) and I drive a small SUV. The team was also very nice and asked me what I wanted done and how I’d like my car to smell. The eucalyptus spray was great! I definitely will be back and their prices are also really good!

Fernando is the Picasso of buffing out scratches. It’s hypnotic watching him work. We were quoted 1700 dollars elsewhere to fix some scratches, Fernando buffed it out by hand in 25 minutes for 80 dollars. Thank you.

This place is amazing. Amazing staff and a great car wash. I recommend the subscription if you wash your car often. One suggestion for the management tho is to make the car wipe down by the staff at the end of the wash, optional. It’s nice but not really needed. The air blowers do a great job.

Jose and his team hella good! Best full interior/exterior I've ever had, and at competitive pricing. I'll be coming here for my annual summer detailing from now on. Best Detail washed and dried the carpet, buffed out any scratches they found, and since I brought a paint pen I bought from the dealership they were even able to touch up all the rock chips on my front bumper. Their work brought out whole new level of shine & color, my baby literally looks like I just drove her off the showroom floor. Definitely living up to their name, this shop is a cut above all of the full detail jobs I've paid the same price for in the past.

I have used solar car wash at other locations and had good experiences but this one needs some repairs. The stall I pulled in to had the controls covered in duct tape and the soap didn't come out of the brush which wasted precious time.....

Very nice cleans facilities to go and wash your car The Vacuum Center is kept very clean and nice the prices are great $12 bucks for most basic option and comparable to the surrounding shops. the guys are very quick at drying. definitely worth spending the money and not having to do it yourself. And the employee Casondra was super helpful in making sure I pulled into the right drive through off San Pablo!! 💕

I took my vehicle in March 2022. I’ve taken it now twice. My car was so filthy I was embarrassed to take pictures before unless they did for me. This is the best high quality job where they take there time and can even revive my 2006 MDX to feeling new. I’m so happy with this place and highly recommend to everyone. I’m a single mom and they were kind and professional worth ever penny. I came back because they even sent my car out to be reupholstered with a sister company. I have gone to this detail shop for years, even before it was under the current owner because it is convenient to where I live and they do a good job. I went there twice, recently, to get an estimate that I needed to submit to Caltrans. I was told they would only provide a written estimate if I paid $30 for it. That is ridiculous. Each time I asked for the owner, Alfredo, he was never around nor did they take my information for him to call me back to discuss this common and simple request. I guess he doesn't need the work.

I got my truck cleaned by them about a week or 2 ago, one of the best derails here in Humboldt. Have gotten details in other places, these guys I respect a lot because they were ready to work, they got me in that same afternoon and even waited for me at a convenient time to pick up the truck (a little after their closing hours). I recommend this place before checking other options. The owner is a real hustler and a gentleman. Mad respect. If I could I’d give another review; that good they are.

These guys are amazing!!! This year hasn’t been my year for my cars…My partner and I had a claim in June for my 2019 Honda Fit and I met with David there and he was so kind and very understanding. There was a lot of undercarriage damage due to potholes in the city but they manage to get it fixed after 2 weeks. Wonderful job! Like new! After that claim, my rear passenger window was bashed & door was scratched on my 2006 Honda Pilot 2 months later and they gave me a projected week to get fixed. Luckily I had my 2019 Honda Fit however, I believe someone tried to steal my catalytic converter because I heard a noise as I was driving an notice the bolts were missing off the bottom part of my Car! I came in and John was so kind to take me in quickly no more than 15 minutes to have it taken care of! In and Out, got my other car back 2 days later. They’re so kind and do an exceptional, just wonderful job! They vacuumed the heck out of my 2006 Pilot too! I love these guys! Absolutely recommend!!

101 Auto Body in Berkeley is the best!! Unfortunately, my cars have been dinged by other drivers twice in the last two years. My car is squeaky clean. But this establishment is full of thieves. I left 100 hundred dollars worth cash in my glove department and they stole from me. Run away and find a more honest car wash service. They do the job well but when it comes to being honest this is not the place as they had robbed me. It kind of sucks because I really enjoyed getting my car clean on my busiest days of the years but they are full of crooked people. RUN AWAY

One of the worst experiences I've ever encountered at a collision center. My friend brought their car to Berkeley Toyota Collision Center, and instead of being treated with respect, the car was taken on an unauthorized joy ride by George, the body shop manager! Even worse, the car was driven over to the service center (same owner, two different shops), where it sat under the supervision of Josh, the service center manager. This behavior is a clear conflict of interest and absolutely unprofessional. Not only did they fail to handle repairs properly, but they also used a customer's vehicle for their own entertainment. If you’re looking for a trustworthy and professional repair center, avoid this place at all costs!

Excellent value hand car wash and interior cleaning. Much more affordable than a detail. Exterior wash may take 15-45 mins depending on how busy. Add another 15 mins for interior clean. They seem to be busier in the late morning on weekends.

TERRIBLE HALF ASS CAR WASH, it’s like they pick and choose when they want to clean. They try to do the bare minimum and get away with getting paid full price. I consider this a 3.5/5, so I rounded up . This was my first visit to this touchless car wash. I paid for the "Super" package for $54 (includes the extra $10 due to my having an SUV). Overall, I'm satisfied with the results. They did a great job with interior vacuuming and wiping down the windows and interior surfaces. For external cleaning, the results were mostly okay. The rinsing of the car left much to be desired as there was still some soap residue in one area of the car (most of it was wiped away by the staff). No smudges on the windows post-wipedown. One of the staff, maybe the manager, didn't want me to take photos which I thought was strange. I'll likely return since there aren't many touchless alternatives in the area.

First of all, they didn’t clean the interior. The glove department and the trunk was still dirty. They broke doorhandle telling me it’s something happens in my model of the car. Never something like that happened before. I end up with a broken two doors and dirty car.

Super overpriced for the quality of the wash. I had to check them about several things like the hood and roof. I requested only an exterior wash because the inside was pretty clean but he charged me $4/mat and they looked like this. He’s super rude and treats his Latino employees badly.
