This team did an incredible job with a full size van that had been sitting for months, and was even molding inside. Got my Volk TE37s ceramic coated before putting em away for winter and GAH LEE THEY ARE SPARKLING! I brought them to Alex caked with brake dust and he put quality time into cleaning, polishing, and ceramic coating them like they were his own. Edgar was quick to respond to my inquiry about getting my 2018 Explorer detailed. I was surprised when I asked, "do you have any openings for tomorrow. Yes he said that will work for us. End result... all swirls gone! engine 100% cleaned. WOW!! He and his helper circled my car at least four times each on the final inspection. Each wiping away any small area that needed a little more TLC. Even before I drove away he asked, "does your car sit under a tree"? Yes it does. He found a few drops of sap and was inspecting my windshield one more time.... found a small, I mean tiny spot and pulled out his razor and removed it. NICE catch. They damaged my mirror and didn’t clean the interior roofing or the fabric panels of my doors. When we took my vehicle back, the smug owner insisted that his employee who he claims is the best window tinter in town would never do such a thing. I would have definitely noticed if I had random and bizarre scratches on the rear view mirror of my daily driver. He wiped some things down and sent my father away. Mistakes happen - the detailer must have bumped it with equipment as I can assume from the marks, but I don’t appreciate being patronized. I love supporting local businesses but for $220, I will be taking my vehicle elsewhere.

This is The Place to bring your car up-to-speed with looks and bells/whistles! We have bringing our cars to this business for windows being tinted for many years now. However, recently we received stupid high quote from another business to coat our "new" car with ceramic coating. So, we stopped by this business to see what they can do. The quote was absolutely REASONABLE from Primitive Auto Spa. We picked it up 3 days later and we keep getting compliments months later - "is this a brand new car?" I highly recommend Bellingham Auto Detailing Pros. I took my van in for a full interior detail service and was amazed at the results. I have 3 children that eat in the vehicle and the carpets, seats and tracks were embarrassingly disgusting. But the van came back looking and smelling great! I found Bellingham Auto Detailing on accident when looking around to get my car detailed. I had just gotten finished dog sitting and knew it was a mess (I felt pretty bad). I was referred to RestorFX to have them work on my '98 Chev 1500 Z71. After 26 years of traveling on hundreds and hundreds of miles of logging roads and overgrown side roads getting my black truck scratched and scraped so badly that I initially thought only a paint job would take care of these blemishes. But after a friend told me about RestorFX, Idecided to go to the shop and take a look at their work and see if this is something that I wanted to have done and for them to do it. After looking at a couple of the cars that they were working on at the time and spending a little time talking to some of their staff, I felt completely comfortable with the process and having them do the job and I must admit that I was really excited to see the final result and I was not disappointed! Beautiful work, fast turn around, very friendly and knowledgeable staff and much more reasonable, then I had thought it would be. What's not to like? I highly recommend this business to anyone who appreciates keeping their vehicles looking like new!

Update: this “restoration” lasted 8 months before they yellowed, turned hazy, and looked worse than before. Took my 2013 Legacy in for headlight restoration. They were yellowing and partially hazy and degraded the overall appearance of my car. Restore FX did an amazing job. They look very close to new and make my car look so much better. The crew there is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

After picking up my car, at first glance everything seemed fine. Philip told me they cleaned my windows as well, which I did not ask him to do. Shortly after, I noticed large scratches on my tint on all 4 of my windows, like someone had "cleaned" them with a sharp object that removed my tint. I first called Philip about this and he immediately started denying it, claiming it was already there, before eventually agreeing to "take a look" so I brought it by the next day at the agreed time. He no-showed and hours later claimed he was on a phone call with another customer and wanted me to reach out again. On this phone call, I sent him these images and he was extremely unprofessional, laughing at my claims and saying the classic "this has never happened before". For someone who also offers tinting themselves, claims to be a business, and is supposedly so focused on customer satisfaction, I an extremely disappointed and I would not trust them to do any further services on any car whatsoever. I have never touched my interior windows before bringing it here and will now have to replace all of them. He was unwilling to reimburse me any portion I paid, so I have no choice but to warn people against going to this terrible establishment. Stay away, because if anything happens to your car he will deny all responsibility and you'll waste your money.

My wheels haven’t been this shiny since I bought it, finding someone who I could trust and that wasn’t too expensive was a bit tricky but I took the plunge and it looks amazing! I dropped them off with a rough 1-2 week estimate and got it done so quick I didn’t expect for such a quick turn around! They even removed the old tape-weight residue and shinned the tires I will send an update when I install them in the spring and see how the ceramic coating is!

The Detailist I have a high mileage Tesla that I turned over to Curtis for a ceramic coat. My wife and I are very happy with the results! We are picky people and despite its high mileage, we take very good care of our car. It now looks better than new. This has been confirmed by several Tesla owners that have asked us about the paint. Most recently one asked why our 2019 car with 150,000 miles looks better than his brand new car. Working with The Detailist is a pleasure. I initially called to inquire about a wash and wax for my 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser. I ordered the vehicle new from the factory and consider it my “baby”. I’ve taken excellent care of my vehicle throughout its years and it has served me well. However, the past couple of years the paint has started to fade and appear to be oxidizing. I had a conversation with Curtis and he educated me on what exactly the best treatment for my paint was. I was apprehensive at first, but decided to go with the long term solution of a ceramic coating. With Curtis’ vast knowledge in the industry, he walked me through the extensive process and treatment. The result was better than I had anticipated. They had gone to the lengths of even removing the factory roof rack and working the paint underneath. My vehicle looks better now than it did the day of purchase. Curtis and his team do an amazing job and I highly recommend them if you want the best paint treatment and protection for your vehicle or boat.

I’ve gone to sunset car wash for quite a few years now. Poor experience in drive-through wash years back, after I went through, I pulled to the side to dry my car off, I see damage to my car, multiple straight-line scratches. I take very good care of this car, and 100% those were new. Asked the manager at the time to look it over, they said “looked like I drove against a thick branch” in the woods perhaps, and that wasn’t from them. So I have avoided the drive through since, but used the self wash. Wanted to leave that in the past until my experience today, and several past couple of visits, hoping for a change soon. Something has changed over the last year/two. New harsh soap in the foam brushes, stains your hands and clothes. Leaves hard-spots on car even after final rinse. The stall next to office door has a pinhole leak in the brush line, spraying soap everywhere. Only wish that soap was coming out of the gun during soap-spray mode, but nope, just water. Waited over a minute and still no soap spraying out of the gun. Really bummer experience today there, and now I just can’t see myself going back anymore unless they put some more care into this car wash.

I like that the vacuum is a separate part from the car wash. You don't have to pay for a whole car wash if you just want to vacuum out your car. It's $25 a minute, but bring cash, and they have a machine that will give you quarters.

The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, and the service was fast and easygoing! I'm used to entirely automatic car washes, so it was nice to see that these guys do a manual pre-wash with pressure washers. I currently have a massive crack in the bottom of my windshield and the whole system was able to clean my car without adding any damage to that. Definitely coming here again the next time I'm through Bellingham!!

Hey this place was awesome it's got three different prices in case you need to budget the the Royal treatment was only 16 bucks in it literally felt like I was taking off on a 747 cuz it was just blowing the heck out of the car and got really clean the owner actually I noticed a little bit of algae that was left when I was vacuuming it and he told me I did a really good job cleaning my car for my girlfriend and he said hey I own this place go ahead and run her through again for free so am I this is really cool place to go the only thing that I could say that maybe they can improve upon is the the Matt Shaker there's a special machine where you can put your mats through and it'll shake them off that thing wasn't working but they did have free wipes like Mass wipes so I can just grab as many wives as I want and use them which is really cool and also the if you have a car behind you in the car wash it almost seemed like it was going to hit me and kind of freaked me out but I didn't it didn't hit me so I don't think I can work on that or not also by the vacuum you can have like a water hose just to water off your mats in your car if you wanted to that would be cool anyways all around that place is great thank you so much for your services 😊

We were in and out quickly. All pressure washer (no brushes) and had the roof cleaned too. Hot wax left a lot of spotting, so skip that offering. Overall, a good job but very expensive. I’ve had other truck wash places do the job for almost half the price. Not the workers fault; ie., prices are set by management. I’d use them again but just get the wash.

This place was a catastrophe when I moved to Bellingham in 2021 and had actually managed to get worse when I visited town in September 2024. The tap-to-pay reader has never been replaced, they still authorize your card for $10 for an $8 wash (although it posts properly later), and while my car may sometimes emerge a bit cleaner, it's a guarantee I'll feel gross after giving them my money.

Center vacuum does not work, but it took my money anyway. I put out of order sign on station to prevent others from getting money taken as well. Left a voicemail with the details auto wash phone number in hopes they will return money. Did not try other vacuums because I'm afraid they will also not work.

I really enjoyed my experience at this dealership. I scheduled an appointment for some recall maintenance. They had my car ready on time via their estimates and communication was great. This dealership actually answers their text messages whereas others nearby don't always. The do it yourself bays have the foam cannon, some bays work better then others. The automated wash works well but is powerful, I’ve had trim pieces fly off. Overall good, I use this one often. EDIT: went from 4-2 stars because they don’t refill their soaps and never answer their phone.
