Read some reviews before deciding to get my car detailed here and unfortunately they did not meet expectations. Opted for their second most expensive plan/“drop off special”. Lots of dirt left down low on the car and my trunk seems completely neglected. Definitely will be going elsewhere next time I need a detail in Chapel Hill and I encourage you to do the same.

Joe is the BEST! My car was in very bad shape after some mice decided to move in while it was parked in storage for 7 months. They left behind a disgusting mess, but Joe took care of my problem completely for a very fair price. Can’t recommend enough! My old car feels like new again.

Went today on 11/02/24 and left scratches from washer all over the back of my brand new car as well as front left side driver door. Very disappointing. Have a sign when your driving in saying they are not liable for damages so this must be common! Update: I called car wash since he made the edit to get in touch and left my number with a very rude older lady. A week passed and no one called me back. I also emailed the email on website and it got returned to me as unsent. I called again today and was connected with Bruce later who said to come in, I did and I explained that I just got the car and took it to him the next day and his response was “we can’t take ownership for this damage it could have happened anywhere, I can refund your car wash.” I took the refund but overall bad customer service from older lady up front and Bruce the manager. How can the owner make a comment to get in touch and when I try he doesn’t even reach out? He didn’t even leave any contact info in comment. Very disappointed. I now added photos of damage.

I just pay $35 for a basic wash it did a good job but. But no deep wash at all. You would think at $35 my Windows would be clean. But nope bird poop still on my car. Not happy for the money. 😔

Do you need a strong vacuum? (5th star for value) I chose the unlimited club for under $15/mo- the value is great. A multi-dog beach trip left this car in dire need of a clean, and this location had the vacuum strength to assist. Check out the before and after pictures! Both sand and fur were no trouble with a little time, and the interior color makes these things easy to spot. No unaware rider would suspect the before pictures. I hope this location adds sprays and perhaps some vacuum head options for tough to reach places in the future; however, the value for what they do offer is definitely there. For families with messy kids, folks transporting pets, people responsible for work vehicles, clean-car enthusiasts, or rideshare vehicles, you can find a strong vacuum here.

I was so excited for a basic+ car wash for my birthday. I've been coming to TC's since they first opened 20 years ago and I was in college. I was disappointed when I got my car but my child was with me and hungry so couldn't stick around. There's a sign that it was sold so maybe that is the problem and the only contact on the website is the old owner. The back floor doesn't appear to have been cleaned and my organizer with my child's things was knocked over where her items were all over the floor. Car seat wasn't vacuumed or touched. Vents weren't properly cleaned. Someone used a rag on my oil reminder sticker and now the side has new dark marks which I assume is ink transfer. I also have new scratches on my dash by my speedometer- looks like a key or ring was pulled across. Seats didn't look vacuumed either with lint and fuzz still on them. My seats are dark so it's easy to tell when they haven't been cleaned. I'm super disappointed since I have to re-clean my car and now figure out how to get these new stains and marks off for my birthday. The last time I wasn't as impressed but now I'm just disappointed. We own a business and finding people are hard, but you still need to keep to the standards the business has had for 20 years.

Long post...but it's necessary. I am extremely disappointed I didn't bother to take pictures. I've frequented TC's over the years and had great experiences and my money's worth. I was unaware of new management so I had no reason to check the reviews before visiting. I paid for most expensive wash thinking I'd get the best of the best interior cleaning which was my main concern paying for it rather than doing it myself. I was saddened by the condition of my car, they did not do the cleaning I paid for. My car looked the same inside. Crumbs the same place, inside looked like they didn't even bother to attempt to vacuum. I noticed this one piece of chip next to my daughter's car seat hadn't moved one inch. They trick you by doing a good job on the outside but by the time you drive away you notice nothing was done on the inside. How can the most expensive car wash leave my car looking just as dirty as I brought it in. My 6 year old does a better job with our handheld vacuum at home. Don't waste your money. They'll never see me again.

24 hour self wash system! My machine seemed to only add 1:30 mins after my first initial 3:00 for $3. Usually takes about 5:00-6:00 min tops to clean a compact SUV!

Pretty solid as car washes go. 6 do it yourself bays and two automatic bays. A multitude of vacuum cleaners and scent dispensers. Credit card use at all locations, change machine as well.

When you come out of the tunnel you pull into a parking slot designed for ease of vacuuming out your vehicle. There is vacuum on both sides and the flex hose connection point is 7 feet above ground level so the hose easily reaches into your vehicle from the front to the back with ease. On both sides of the vehicle there is a towel basket of clean dry cloths one can use to hand dry areas and do touch up cleaning. Below the fresh towel basket is another basket for leaving your dirty towels. Well thought out design. I wish we had one of these car washes in Dallas, TX.

I strongly support Ray’s Auto Detailing. Not only had I been a new customer the first time, but he had met up with me on the weekend to emergency clean cat pee out of my front passenger seat. At first, it mostly diminished, but upon contacting Ray a second time, he swung by to take an extra stab at it free of charge. Since I have seen Ray, I have yet to smell any odor. And that’s cat pee, so I really have to give him a pat on the back there because that is tremendously difficult to pull from cushions. I have also had the opportunity to have my car completely detailed by Ray, and it is stunning. The attention to detail is there, the customer service is there, and I plan on continuing with Ray’s services to maintain my shiny new car!

I recently paid for my niece to get her car detailed as a Christmas gift. I told her to find a place, and I’d give her the cash to cover it. She found a business online with a high rating that offered mobile detailing, which was convenient for her and seemed to be Black-owned—something we try to support when possible. She booked the appointment for a Sunday at 8 a.m. online, as the business closes early on Saturdays, so she couldn't call directly. The service requires a $50 deposit, with the remaining balance due once the job is completed. On the day of the appointment, my niece woke up early to clear her car so the employee could clean it easily. At 7:55 a.m., she went outside to check if anyone had arrived. When she came back in, I asked if they were there, and she said no. I suggested she wait a few minutes and then call at 8:05 a.m. She called, but no one answered, and she was sent to voicemail, which was full, so she couldn’t leave a message. She waited until 8:15 a.m. and tried calling again—same result: voicemail. At this point, they were already 15 minutes late. She even sent a message through their Instagram page, but got no response. She started to worry that it might be a scam and that her $50 deposit was gone. At 8:21 a.m., my niece received a text from an employee named Lamar saying he had just finished his previous appointment and was on his way. He also told her to leave her car unlocked. The shop is only about 12 minutes from our house, but Lamar didn’t arrive until around 9:30 a.m.—an hour and a half late for the scheduled appointment. Lamar cleaned the car, but he didn’t apologize for being late, nor did he offer any discount. My niece didn’t take any "before" pictures since there wasn’t much to clean—she had recently gotten a used car and mainly wanted the seats and carpets sanitized. Lamar did a great job cleaning the car, though after he left, my niece noticed a yellow scuff mark on the vehicle that she didn’t recall seeing before the detailing. Lamar offered to have her come by the shop to have the mark removed at no extra charge, which we appreciated. Even though my niece had work that morning, she decided to go to the shop since Lamar said he’d be there all day, and if she came another day, she would need to make an appointment. After her past experience trying to contact them, she figured it would be easier to go ahead and get the issue resolved. I told her to text me when she arrived, which she did around 9:15 a.m. What was supposed to be a quick 30-second fix turned into a 32-minute wait. I asked her what was taking so long, and she guessed they might have been looking for the right product to remove the mark. She said when they found the product, there wasn’t much left, so they had to go back and get more. I could tell my niece was frustrated—she’s not confrontational, but I could hear it in her voice. I would have been frustrated, too, which is why I’m writing this review on her behalf. While Lamar did a good job cleaning the car, the lack of professionalism and poor customer service were concerning. We value excellent service, and this business just didn’t deliver on that front. We’ll be taking our business elsewhere from now on. This review isn’t meant to bash the company. My niece and I always strive to support Black-owned businesses, and I hope this feedback—along with other similar reviews—serves as constructive criticism for them to improve.

I will definitely make this my regular car wash spot! When I left my car looked better than I did when I took it off the lot - I’m not exaggerating because I bought it pre-owned. The inside of my car wasn’t that bad before hand but my mats were super dirty. I had gone to an automatic wash a couple times before and it would never get bird poop off but at Perfect Touch they did phenomenal. I received the deluxe service. I arrived around 9:30am on a Friday and they had it ready by 11:15am. The staff was friendly and professional. I will say it was a little confusing when I got there because I wasn’t sure where to pull in to get in line - maybe some signs would help - but overall I had a wonderful experience.

I had an amazing experience at Perfect Touch Carwash! The team here takes the time to hand wash every inch of your car, which is a much better alternative to the harsh brushes at automatic car washes that can sometimes scratch or damage your vehicle. They paid close attention to areas that automated washes often miss, like the mirrors, wheel wells, and the interior. The staff was friendly and professional, and made sure I was completely satisfied with the service and even offering helpful tips for maintaining my car’s shine. While it might cost a little more than an automatic wash, the level of care and quality makes it worth every penny. If you want your car treated with the utmost care, I give them my highest recommendation!"

I took my car to August Precision for ceramic coating and tint, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Their communication was amazing throughout the whole process, sending update photos and keeping me in the loop. Chris was super helpful in choosing what would be best for my car since I was originally considering PPF, but ultimately decided with the cars age ceramic would be the best option.
