I have done business with Ziebart over 25 years and I am done with the lack of management and customer service. First of all- they contact you to make your appointment for annual inspection and days before contact you back to cancel your appointment and after your appointment is scheduled for the second time- everyone in customer service is confused about the day they scheduled. Secondly- I brought my truck to get serviced and they had it for more than 5 days and the day I picked it up- the work wasn’t done right and there was undercoating overspray all over my truck. Not to mention- told the manager to come out so I can show him the areas that weren’t done- he stated that he wasn’t going to inspect the job and for me to bring it back! Ziebart had my vehicle for 5 DAYS and I have to bring it back?! There is NO REASON for me to bring a vehicle back when you had it for 5 days!!! If they did the job correctly- the undercoating wouldn’t be peeling and at the end of it- getting charged for sh*ty work! Lastly- CUSTOMER BEWARE- they have changed their policy on September 2024 and now they are charging for annual inspections! Since this point- I have never been charged for inspections and all of the sudden they are charging without telling you what they are charging you for! For any new or used vehicle owners that need to get your vehicle undercoated- there are better establishments out there that have great customer service and take care of their customers! If you want to get screwed- go to Ziebart- they do a good job at screwing their customers!

If I could give a zero that would be too much for the Ziebart in Syracuse . I took my Bronco to have touch up rustproof as required by Ziebart . The shop manager got overspray on bumpers mirrors windows fender flares all over my running boards . 3 trips there and they can’t fix or remove it . Yet another trip and they will try to detail . Sorry just do t have time today I fix the problem after sitting there for 6 hours. Horrible service . Calling BBB to see if they can help . Next will be court . Never again .

Photo Finish is simply the best detailing and vehicle protection company in CNY! Ben Spossey and his team are committed to quality and excellence in both their products and service. So far, Ben has provided us with ceramic exterior protection for a motorcycle, two pick up trucks, a Volvo convertible and a 35 foot super C motorhome for us. He also added a film protection to the front of the Volvo, stopping any concerns about chipping paint! All of the work has been outstanding. His prices are fair and the vehicles look amazing afterwards. We still get comments about how great our 2021 Gladiator looks three years after initial ceramic treatment! I don't want to rule out giving this business a chance, but I also feel I should share my experience in case it should help someone make a decision. John seems to have more work than he can handle as one person. He may have experience, although I can not attest to that based on my results. Honesty, communication, and timing were major issues that precluded this. A mouse had gotten into our cargo van and left behind a horrible smell that was primarily coming from underneath the floor mat in the front cabin, where it had gnawed through the foam on the underside. Cleaning under it required removing the front seats. Detail Johnny seemed willing to do this while other shops weren't. Saturday, I dropped it off with these requirements: 1.) Use unscented cleaning products. 2.) Find and clean the source of the odor before charging me for O2 treatments done in vain. 3.) Call me when the floor mat is out so I can see if I need to replace it. All were agreed to without issue, but only the first fulfilled. He said it would be done next weekend at latest. No calls, so I left voicemail that weekend. Monday, the secretary texts me and tells me there is still an odor after two O2 treatments. She repeatedly avoided my question if he cleaned under the mat, but finally answered vaguely, yes. I asked if I could come in to see progress. She agreed to Friday/Saturday, but then never responded. Next Monday suddenly she said I can come pick it up. When I arrived, the van was outside with all doors opened. Because of that, the odor was undetectable. I peeled up the mat and asked about the amount dirt still underneath it. He claimed this was residual dirt come loose from the underside of the mat, which could not be fully cleaned using only the unscented products I had requested - which he determined to be limited to just soap and water, while I had meant to not use products with fragrances added. But even with just soap and water, I wasn't convinced by his answer and accepted only because the odor seemed gone. Paid $300 and took it home to find the odor returned once closed up. I looked under the floor mat more thoroughly and wiped off loads of dirt just from what I could reach with a dry paper towel. There were leaves and rocks from before the cleaning, still there. Now I was sure he lied. I took it back to him the next day. When I got there, he said, "we're going to do it my way this time." I said, "What do you mean, your way? You still haven't cleaned under the mat." He continued to insist that he had, which made me doubt myself and feel like the asshole. I told him to go ahead and try with his products. He told me he could get to it early next week. Over a week passed in radio silence, all texts and calls ignored. Next Monday, I stop by and there is clearly someone in the garage, but no answer on the phone or at the door. My boyfriend calls instead and gets his secretary, confirming that she was ignoring my number. She acts completely out of line and starts yelling at my boyfriend. I knock on the door again and John answers pissed off, tells me "You're not my only customer you know. Just take the van and go." She had lied to him and said my boyfriend “cussed her out” despite her being the one yelling, and exaggerated that I had been calling "nonstop" rather than a couple times throughout the week. I clarified what had actually happened and he did apologize, resolving to work out her troubling attitude. Still, now $300 and a month later, I had lost faith and my van smelled too badly to use with no solution. I finally decided to remove the mat myself. I've posted the pictures so you can judge, but in my mind there is no doubt he lied. Tons of dirt, debris, rocks, pieces of foam that a simple vacuum would have taken care of. He at least did not charge me for work he didn't do, but I still paid for two O2 treatments that I didn't want until the work I asked for was done. Perhaps he was confident that he could resolve it his way without doing the work I requested, but I still don't understand why not be upfront and avoid the mess.

Not impressed with work done at all. Everything discussed at consultation was overlooked beyond belief. For someone who has detail in their business name I can't get over how many details were missed. Completely forgot to detail roof of my truck and back window. Paint touch-up quality is something I could of done myself. At consultation i asked if you would be able to feel chip after touchup he said he would fill and sand it but because it was rounded into gas fill area it wouldnt be 100 percent. Doesnt even seem like the right color paint and wasnt filled like discussed. Asked to have iron contamination removed as discussed(my main reason for having detail done) and still have iron contamination. Inside looked great but wasn't messy to begin with and didn't put my weathertec liners back together in backseat. Disappointed is an understatement and for giving my vehicle for 2 plus days I would of expected different results. Please avoid and save your time and money.

I recently had my truck undercoated and had the interior cleaned (Cicero NY location). Upon picking up my truck I noticed the fan control switch was missing. I drove back and brought this to the attendants attention. He suggested that it was probably "vacuumed up." SO, I asked him what he was going to do, to which he replied that he was going to go through the debris in the vacuum to try and find it. I asked him to call me when he finds it. After no call I called back and was told they would need to order me a new fan switch. I said ok. I have called every day for 2 weeks and only gotten the run around and today they said I would need to take care of this problem and that THEY did not get approval from upper management. THUS, my poor review. I have been a loyal customer of Zibart, even had the ceramic glaze and many other services applied to my vehicles (and wife) over the years. Disappointed,

Morale of the story, prior to getting rust proofing on your vehicle from the dealership, verify where they have it done so you can read the reviews for the shop prior to purchasing. Brought my vehicle in for its yearly rustproofing maintenance, dropped it off at 8am ( which ended up being 8:30am because they can't stagger appointments and it took 30 minutes before someone saw me) and was told the shop closed at 5pm and it would be ready then. Called for an update on the status and clerk wouldn't provide any, simply stated "no cars have been returned yet". Arrived at 4:30pm anticipating it would be completed by "closing time", 5pm. Waited until 6:30pm and finally received my completed vehicle. When I inquired about the wait the clerk stated the staff are instructed to tell everyone to pick the vehicles up by 5pm closing time no matter what the actual wait may be. Stated there were dealership vehicles dropped off that they did not account for. Those vehicles have priority even though they have no appointment. Even if people are waiting for the vehicle. If I want my rust proofing warranty, I need to bring it to the same shop yearly. Waste of time and money. If my vehicle won't be ready until 6:30pm, tell me. Don't have me wait for the vehicle that you know will not be ready in a timely manner. Customer service is terrible. Would not recommend. Also beware, if you use a credit card, they charge you 3% but don't inform you of this until you question why the amount was higher than you signed for.

If I could rate higher than five stars I would, and no I am not a paid actor. Grieb's is honestly one of, if not THE nicest self car wash I have ever been to. I am a HUGE car enthusiast and love keeping my vehicles clean. The area is safe, secure and has so many amenities. All three self cleaning bays are well maintained and super nice. I have used the automatic wash one time and it was wonderful. Highly recommend this wash to anyone in the Liverpool Area. Lots of clean microfiber towels to use. $6 for 6 minutes, and $4 for 6 minutes with the vacuum. Lots of cameras, great lighting!

Price for the unlimited car wash keeps going up. I also notice marks on my car after going through the car wash sometimes. I’m not sure exactly what it’s from but they aren’t easy to rub off. Sometimes the line for the car wash takes a while, depends on who’s working really. The people who dry your car use dirty towels. Either buy towels and give them to the dryers or dry it yourself. Don’t forget to tip the dryers! Other than those issues I love the convenience of it, open till 9 I can go as many times a day as I want.

On December 5th I had my Nissan Maxima SL done at Shawshanked. Being a 2018 it had built up fine Swirls and scratches over time and it was time to protect my investment. After talking with Brandon I decided to go with the Swirl Slayer and added my Engine bay and also decided on going with a 3 year ceramic coat. Today I finally decided to pull the trigger and treat myself to some nice Ceramic tints all around, along with a 5-year Ceramic coating. My 2019 F-150 was parked, and trapped, by a large fire in the Adirondacks about two weeks ago. As a result, the truck was covered in black ash and soot that wouldn't simply wash off. At the recommendation of my insurance agent, I stopped by Ken's Auto Detailing and set up an appointment about a month out because of how much work had already been scheduled for them. An hour after I got home, I received a call from Ken telling me that he created a hole in his calendar to accommodate me much sooner because he was concerned about the ash sitting on the truck for a long period of time. When I picked up the truck at the end of the day of the service, I couldn't believe what I was looking at. The truck was cleaner and more polished than the day I purchased it almost four years ago. Tyler did an amazing job of removing the ash and putting life back into the truck's finish. I can't thank him enough for the effort he put into the truck, and to Ken for allowing me to come in much sooner than our original scheduled date and time. Ken's Auto Detailing is a class act. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a quality detail on your vehicle. Reasonably priced, and quality, professional work.

The manager Bruce is extremely rude and has zero customer service skills. I paid for a membership and canceled it after I was told nobody had the time to put a sticker on my car 3 times , I went to get a car wash because I had a month remaining and he tried to refuse it and intimidate me and make me feel uncomfortable, claimed he couldn’t prove I paid when I had my card- bank statement and the cancellation email then he tried to say it was gonna refund me which is not true because it’s been a week sense valet auto washed charged my card. He came out with a sticker put it on my card ripped half of my registration off doing it!!! How does this man even have a job here? when I asked for his district managers info he refused.

Extremely upset here's a very updated review 2024, had my car for 11 days first off, second of all when I picked up my car showed the same code for the part that was fixed on top of a new code for fuel trim which he told me he reset. He told me and my dad to drive it around and the light should go out. 8 days go as of August 28th 2024 check engine light is still on and sounds like crap and still bringing up the same codes . I'm sorry but after 11 days of having my car there shouldn't be any codes especially the ones you said were fixed and messaging me the day before that my car looks good. What a crock 420$ waisted. And if you want your car to have oil in it and old parts left in it then go ahead and take it here/ sike. Not even offering to give money back or half or nothing.

Horrible business. I asked for an estimate for the labor for my brakes and rotors and they tried to swindle me. I already had the parts so I figured it would be a cheap cost. They Told me that they needed to hook a machine up to my car to figure out my braking system. I’ve never heard of a mechanic ever saying something like this before in my life. I had a spoiler (wing) painted here. When I picked it up it was very dusty so the guy Brain took a rag to clean off some of the dust which is a no no on dry paint. I figured I could take it home and clean it up and maybe it wasn’t as bad as it looked. When I got it home I can clearly see all of the imperfections of the so called paint job. It look to only had one coat of paint, it looks as if it wasn’t clean off before the paint was applied, I’m not sure if it has a clear coat on it or not. You can also see in certain areas where the primer that the company I bought it from applied it and it wasn’t completely covered up. This really looked to me to be a very bad rush job Although they had it for three weeks… I was told it is an after market part that’s why it looks like it doesn’t, NOT! It looks though if it was painted, sanded and repainted…. It was smooth when I dropped it off primed and ready for painting. No waves, no scratches and new out of the box. I had it looked at by several other places. I went with Syracuse Auto color because of the good ratings and they could get me in without waiting. I am truly very disappointed especially after reading the reviews before I decided on going there to have it painted. Andrew Johnson, Sr.

Syracuse Auto Color did an amazing job fixing my car, I could not recommend their services more. They have very reasonable prices and go above an beyond when it comes to their work. I dropped off my car for them to fix a minor paint chip and they not only fixed it, but also fixed my warping clear coat while they were at it, which was something that they didn't have to do, but that I very much appreciated. I had the interior only of my car done today, May 14, 2021, and what a great experience! The young man who worked on my car said it should make me fall in love with my car all over again. All I can say is that the price was good, the service was excellent, and while I might be more in love with a Caddy, my van looks beautiful inside! What a pleasure to drive now! Hubby's car is next! had an amazing experience with upstate imports. i brought my jaguar f type because it kept leaking coolant out of the coolant reservoir and i didn’t know why it did that. i changed the coolant reservoir multiple times by my self and the issue kept happening. so i decided to take it to them since most of my friend took their cars to them and they were the only reputable shop that had amazing reviews and worked on foreign cars. they figured out the issues and checked the car fully for me. they found out that the coolant cap was the wrong cap and that it kept overflowing coolant because of that. they replaced it and replaced multiple other stuff that i didn’t even know was a issue. now the car drives great! definitely will be coming back to get more stuff and performance mods done. 10/10 experience shout out to the tech and the person that kept updating me everyday with what they did to the car and what’s needed and what’s not really needed.
