Kory and his team at The Works Auto Center never miss a beat. They are the most reasonably priced detail spa in the capital region. I recently purchased a Porsche 911 and the majority of the vehicle had ppf already on it minus the front bumper. They installed gloss black ppf to match my paint and hide so of the minor rock chips on the front bumper. They provided a hand wash and the quality surpassed my expectations.

I inherited a classic car from my Dad, a 1966 American Motors Rogue Rambler. Unfortunately it sat for about 15 years and it showed. Mold, mildew, mouse nests, dust and dirt EVERYWHERE! I never thought it would come clean. Tony and his crew took on the task with a positive attitude and unwavering determination. The results were astonishing! The interior was spotless, practically brand new. The exterior paint went from dirty and dull to bright and shining. This car is ready for the showroom floor. Not going to see it though.... Our Jeep had been hit with an epoxy paint on the highway, the owner Tony is actually who figured out what it was. And there were literally thousands of little paint specs all over the body, vinyl, glass, you name it. Nick is awesome. He is reliable and fair. Had a stain on my leather seats...orange popsicle....none of the industrial stain removers touched it! So, he found a matching spray paint and carefully detailed the seat to look like new. Last year, I brought my '09 Scion tC to these folks and they did the most amazing job making it look brand new. You wouldn't think a 14 year old car could come out looking that clean, but they made it happen. I'm certain it helped me on my trade-in when I bought my 2020 Ford Escape. On that note, I brought in said Ford Escape for a complete detail including ceramic coating (warranteed for 5 years!), and the results are just as amazing again. Absolutely pristine exterior with all swirls and imperfections removed from body panels and even the plastic pillars and trim. As for the interior, the dealer I bought it from did one of those rush job soap-down 'detailing' routines that left the interior smelly extremely musty because they never let it dry properly. The crew here at Next Level Detailing were able to bring it back to life and make it smell sooo incredibly fresh again. They showed me how they went under the mats, treated the leather seats, and killed the funky smells in all the little places that people typically don't think about. There's no denying these folks are top notch and very much care about the work they deliver. They are the nicest folks to talk to and communicated every step of the way about the work they were doing. I can't say enough nice things about them. I'll be bringing my cars back to them as often as I can manage and would definitely refer anyone to them if asked for local vehicle detailers. Cheers!

Before deciding to have my car ceramic waxed here I went in and spoke with the owner, we had a great conversation and he answered all of my questions about the process. Their work is very detailed ( I scratched my car a few days before the appointment and he magically made it disappear haha ) so I was thankful for that. Did an Amazon inside taking out the dog fur that was from the previous car owner ( husky or wolf fur..) this fur was deep In the seats and places I couldn't see, ALL the fur was gone when I picked up my car, truly amazing detail and care for the car at an amazing price. They waxed the paint, windows and rims. The wax has helped with rain, dirt, I havnt need a car wash in awhile. I waited a month before writing this review. I am a happy customer and highly recommended their work.

This place is a joke. Paid top dollar for under coating with a life time guarantee. Was told I would need touch ups every year at no cost. Well my very first touch up I was informed they changed the policy and now their is a yearly fee.

I would rate them 0 stars if possible. Last year I had put on diamond coat and rust proofing right after I purchased my car. At the time I was talked into getting at least a diamond coat, since I did not have the money for ceramic coat. I went in last Wednesday to the 1009 Central Ave Albany New York 12205 location for my yearly inspection for both and was grabbed by the salesman instead (one that sold products to me) and went out to inspect car. Then he brings me inside trying to sell me more. I was then told I now have to pay another 500 dollars to reapply diamond coat, and need to read warranty that says I have to pay to reapply. He had said then that he never said only apply once when he sold me it last year when he in fact did say that "you spray it once and then its done". I left car for rust proofing inspection and reapply of rustproofing. I came back to pick up car at 4:30pmnand the car was never cleaned as promised and the whole side of my car was sprayed with rust proofing. Also multiple dings and scratches left on car that were not there before services were done. Some of the scratches are deep down to the bare metal. I believe I was lied to and Ziebart was trying to get me to spend more money. When I said no they did this to my car so I would have to go back for more. The car is now a mess and needs body work for the said damage that Ziebart caused. I will never go back. And when i noticed the damage a short black gentleman came out with a spray bottle a sponge and a microfiber cloth to remove the undercoating overspray that was on the side of my car. And their corporate response when i reached out to corporate before posting this review, they told me to basically "get stuffed" if you catch my drift. I was to reach out to the business itself as each business is a franchise location. But the business response is to reach out to corporate and I'm sure they will give a phone number and an email which both belong to corporate in a response to this review. And before the phone number and email they will say they are sorry that I was disappointed with them and to give them a call all below this review. That is bull because what they did was uncalled for and unnecessary. There may even be more on and below my car that i am not aware of that will have to be repaired. All of this was caused by these absolute fools. Attached are just a couple of the photos i have of the damage these unprofessional hacks caused to my car. All of the damage was not there before it went in to their business. All because i denied 2 services, they went ahead and caused this damage to my car.

Phenomenal shop, I would highly recommend bringing your vehicle here! I brought my new Silverado to get the Gold package, lifetime protective Ceramic Pro Coating, as well as tint. RJ is extremely meticulous and thorough with explaining the various packages available when it comes to the ceramic coating. Any questions you have, he is very eager to answer. They are very prompt with getting your vehicle in and getting the job done! They were able to get me in within a week from initial inquiry. They had my truck for a day and a half before it was ready to be picked back up. RJ is very keen on detail, when I picked my truck back up, he mentioned that he had noticed a minor flaw in the driver side window tint so they redid that window before I arrived. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my new truck! It looks extra shiny and glossy. The tint just brings it all together! I will definitely be returning for future needs!

The team at Upstate is top notch. I came to them with minimal understanding of what I was looking for and RJ took his time to walk me through everything over the phone and then when I dropped the car off he went over it all again. During the process they kept me informed on how they were doing and even made some great suggestions that made my car stand out. The customer service is just amazing! Jay has detailed at least 30 plus cars for me this year, and they all come out like new, he knows how to use all the equipment and Chemicals necessary, including paint correction, to make a Vehicle shine like new again! I had Joaquin give my car an interior and exterior detail, which was considered the "basic package". This included interior cleaning, exterior wash, cleaning the wheels, tire shine, and two coats of wax. Joaquin was easy to communicate with, arrived on time (he came to my home and did the detail in my driveway, which was very convenient), and completed the work in under an hour. He did a great job, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a detail in the Capital Region. I have attached two photos of the final product. Please note that I have two Labrador retrievers who ride in the car almost daily, so it would be nearly impossible to have the car looking "new" again after a basic detail. I'm very happy with the work, the car looks night and day from how it did before Joaquin arrived. I've tried vacuuming the car myself, and I have never been able to get it even close to as clean as he did (it's very hard to get fine dog hairs out of cloth interior fabric).

Disappointed After 10+ Years of Loyalty As a long-time customer of Colonial Car Wash for over a decade, I’ve cherished the memories my kids and I have created here. They loved helping us vacuum the car and watching the colorful soap and brushes in action. Unfortunately, it pains me to say that the service quality has declined to the point where I fear for the future of this local business. It breaks my heart to write this review out of frustration and dissatisfaction, rather than praising a place where I’ve had great experiences in the past. Despite Colonial Car Wash’s longstanding presence in the community, the increasing competition from Hoffman’s Car Wash is going to take a serious toll unless significant improvements are made. Here are the key issues that need urgent attention: 1. Vacuum Machines: The vacuums are the worst in the area, despite being free. What was once a strategic advantage is now a glaring weakness, especially since the competition now offers free vacuums throughout the Capital District. Their vacuums are new and powerful, while Colonial’s are often broken, weak, and clogged with debris. 2. Self-Cleaning Bays: This was a unique feature that set Colonial apart, but now, the equipment is barely functional. The tire cleaner doesn’t dispense properly, the foam brush delivers more water than soap, and the bays are frequently dirty, especially after pick-up trucks wash out all their dirt. The lack of proper garbage bins inside the bays makes the situation even worse. 3. Customer Service: Signing up for a monthly subscription is easy, but making changes is frustrating. While the staff on-site can’t assist with adjustments, calling customer service isn’t much better. Though they do return calls, the service is subpar, and the calls often come from unidentified numbers, making it easy to miss them. This approach is inadequate in 2024. 4. Car Wash Cleanliness: The overall cleanliness of the facility needs serious improvement. The car wash should look spiffy and shiny, but instead, it’s often dirty, with leaves and debris everywhere. No one wants to visit a dirty car wash. 5. Outdated Equipment: While competitors have updated their facilities with the latest technology, Colonial’s equipment looks old and worn out. If you want to stay in business, it’s time for a renovation. While your monthly subscription is cheaper, people won’t stick around if they’re not happy with the service. As of now, I’ve canceled the monthly subscription for both of my cars. Lastly, I want to offer my help to the business. If you need any further suggestions or process improvements, I’d be happy to assist free of charge. Please feel free to reach out. However, if you don’t adopt a “customer is right” or “customer-first” approach, you won’t succeed by making excuses.

This has been the go to car wash for years, and we are monthly plan customers. I don’t use the vacuums, DIY bays or anything other than the drive thru. I think my only complaint is being effected and needing to take the time to decline the $5 carnauba wax addition. I will be a long time patron. They just get the job done and blend in, unlike the neon eyesore west of here. I hope they continue to prosper.

Tim did an awesome job ceramic coating my 2024 Frontier truck. Looks much better than when I picked up at dealership and it is smooth as silk. Tim was timely, professional and really knows his stuff. Tim also provided very helpful information on maintenance of the coating. I would highly recommend Tim for any detail or ceramic coating work.

No words for this place other than amazing. Very professional got my car done on time actually 3 hours earlier had it looking brand new. Forgot the guys name but he went above and beyond for me! Defiantly check this place out pricing is unbeatable for the detail and effort he put into my car. Black paint is almost impossible to maintain and my car looks like it did the day i bought it, if not better!! Communication was perfect as well as he went out of his way to send me links for cleaning supply’s to keep my car away from the car wash which sadly is what does the most damage to your paint. 5 stars alla wayyyy

The Shop did an amazing job on my 2018 Chevy Silverado. When I walked in I didn’t recognize my truck. It looked like a new paint job. All the scratches were removed. The wheels looked like new and the chrome had a brilliant shine. The running boards looked like the day I bought them. The bed cover even looked new. From top to bottom they did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend them. I plan to have my car done too. They were easy to deal with and answered all my questions. Well worth the money.

Definitely recommend them. My truck was dirty from years of kids beating it up. The interior was done exceptionally well. Seats came out looking new. Attention to detail in all the small areas. He didn't skip out when cleaning. Also did exterior wash which was much better than a typical car wash. Great person to deal with. Very nice and appreciative of the business. Charlie did an amazing job to my 2020 highlander. I had dirt and mud build up on my backseat due to my dogs, dog hair all throughout the car and it looks like my car came right off the lot. I went to get my interior and exterior cleaned today. While in line the workers were having people from lane to lane move to keep the flow of traffic moving (no one was cut off) but a lady was very upset about it, yelling and throwing her hands around outside of her twice. The workers were very professional during this situation, and handled themselves very well even tho she was in their faces yelling and clapping. Good on your workers for not only doing a great cleaning service but also maintaining professionalism

Went here for the first time and less disappointed at the end result I had chosen the $50 wash option. Since I was eating my interior, vacuum and cleans as well. They are very quick, I must say that but when I had gotten home walked around my vehicle and just saw things that they had listed on what should’ve been done and they weren’t. For example, the Tyrus bar not shined at all, and multiple water spots around the vehicle. On the inside was ok

I paid $20 for ultimate cash wash option and it’s just Exterior wash which is so expensive. It doesn’t include free vacuum (every Hoffman car wash). Vacuum service is $2 for 8 minutes and $4 for carpet clean plus vacuum, firstly so expensive and secondly annoying that they only take quarters and no credit card. Who carries cash these days? I don’t see cleaning solutions or cleaning cloths anywhere to use. And definitely didn’t do great job cleaning exterior.

I'm not sure what they did but I paid for an exterior basic wash and an interior cleaning. The only thing I can tell they did was spray air freshener. The interior was not vacuumed at all. Like AT ALL. There were a couple of bits of dog kibble I spilled that were still there after. The dashboard had not been wiped because it still had all the dust that was there before. My car was not that dirty when I dropped it but it was just as dirty 45 dollars later. Not expecting a detail but at least a basic vacuum and a quick wipe. I could have had kids do a better job. Had to drive back because I was so upset when I noticed, we'll see if it is any better the second time around. Second star is because they did agree to clean it again when I complained. I would definitely check their work before you leave if you choose to go here.

Don't waste your money getting the interior cleaned, just do it yourself. We bought a used car recently and took it in for an exterior/interior clean. It looks almost exactly the same on the inside. All the main surfaces are still covered in dust. I can wipe my finger and make a line through it, its as if they didnt even clean it. Also never put in the air freshener. Extremely disappointed and frustrated. Now have to spend more money on products and use more time to do it myself. I will never pay for an interior cleaning again.

I would give no stars if I could…I used the auto wash and was frustrated from the start. First off, there was a hand-written sign that stated it wasn’t accepting cash. I pressed what wash I wanted and swiped my card but was there for about 5 minutes before it actually accepted the payment. A random terrible voice recording plays and tells you pull up to the wash. I then go into the wash and end up with a terrible car wash that didn’t even rinse off all of the soap. What a waste of $14, stay away from this place until they get it together.

One of the world’s worst place i have ever went for my car wash. I went for self service car wash and that was my biggest fault ever. Got lots of small scrates everywhere. Thats was the biggest fault, i went for money over quality. If anyone going there for car wash, please stop wherever you are. Just skip that place.

It’s decent. I wanted the salt off my bronco so it did that fine. Granted I had the touch-less wash. They retracted the spinning stuff for the touchless . But it was too fast. Touchless washes need a bit longer to remove more of the gunk off the cars. Maybe 2 rounds of the same wash would do. More people wash touchless washes because it’s better for your car if you keep it clean. Hoffman gotta figure out how to do touchless right .

The automatic wash is super fast and affordable. Visiting for the second time but the cleaning and air dry could have been better. May be its variable from time to time but certain areas like wind sheild, front bumper are obvious places which are meant to be cleaned. Will visit again to see if my opinion changes.

Stay Away from these jokers. I had the unfortunate experience of the dealer bringing it here to get a undercoat. Not only did they get overspary all over my BRAND NEW 40k trucks rims, they also sprayed all over the exhaust, Too lazy to drop the spare tire and just sprayed right over that. As you can see by the picture they missed tons of spots, the coating was not done evenly. My Truck had 4 Miles when I picked it up. This is the shabby work that was already done. More than likely I will need to take it to someplace else to repair the damage caused by these fly by nighters. If it was up 2 me I would try and get a New truck from the dealer as its partially their fault for letting these guys touch it. I would leave 0 stars if I could.

Joe does amazing work! He did a 5 year ceramic coating on my 4Runner over a year ago, at the time I explained to others that it looked better than a showroom shine - he brought out gloss that wasn’t apparent when I bought the vehicle brand new. After more than a year with the coating it still looks amazing!!! Washing and maintaining the vehicle is so much easier than it is without a coating, plus it looks better than a freshly waxed vehicle with far less effort.
