Do you even care about your car? Taylor, his wife, jazzmyne and their team at Excalibur really put the detail in detailing. My car has been sitting a shed for a year and a half and during that time, spiders, dirt dobbers, birds, and even mice decided to make their home in it unfortunately. Two mice even decided they should make it their grave site and well let's just say the after smell was more than noticeable. Thankfully, Excalibur was able to renew life into my sazuki sx4. They really cleaned the inside well, it smells wonderful and I don't feel like my skin is going to jump out of my skin when I drive it. Of course they did a superb job with the outside of the car, it went from a sad grey car to a spectacular silver that makes me giddy and excited to drive the car when I get in and my sad old headlights that were yellow like the teeth of a chain smoker are renewed and like that of a pearl, really incredible. What's even more, is the engine even sounds smoother after they cleaned it out, I'd say my car even got faster after they cleaned it. But, what is most impressive even after all that has been said, is the attention to detail. They cleaned the joints in the car, the door frames, the gas cap, and even the area behind the steering wheel. Everyone deserves a clean car, it is worth every penny, and watch yourself smile with pearly whites just like the shine you'll see on you car. Promise you won't regret it. Definitely a 5 star experience. One of the few contact forms on the internet I’ve filled out and had a company get back to me so quickly. Taylor’s communication was incredible. He discussed everything they were going to do to detail my car and even sent me update pics a long the way. He was honest about what my expectations should be, given my 31 year old car. Very nice and accommodating in most ways! We arrived for an estimate due to our vehicle damage from another business. We were never given the estimate, but the business that damaged our vehicle was. We didn't agree on the damage during the estimate so their services weren't rendered! We felt like we were fighting with the business to get a fair estimate when it was a "cut and dry" situation! We spoke to the front office spokesperson and never did meet or speak to the person whom actually did the estimate. Each time a question came up about a part or process, an inadequate answer was received! Although we didn't use their business they may be fine with detailing vehicles, as their description depicts! Nice office manager and decent facility to sit and be comfortable in!

My convertible was a mess! Super dirty & dusty interior after having the top down most of the summer. Exterior was dull & had some dings & scrapes. But the guys from ACH Mobile Detailing worked a miracle! The two guys who did the work were here early for our appointment. They were super friendly & very knowledgeable about products / processes to get the best results. The mobile van is self-contained -- didn't need electricity or water source. So all the cleaning was done out of the way in our cul de sac. Exterior hand wash + ceramic coating is so shiney! Little dings disappeared! Wheel rims polished/ tires look new. Interior is spotless - not a speck of dust! Leather seats back to being supple. Car looks fabulous! 👌 And from a business perspective ... great communication! Everything I told the owner -- from the package I thought I needed, to their scheduling system, to text reminders and even the convoluted directions to get into our neighborhood -- was passed along to the guys who came over. Overall great experience with their mobile detailing, exterior, interior, paint correction ceramic coat interior, exterior and wheels on my 2023 BMW X5. I had put off doing everything for over a year after buying my X5 new. Primarily because most places required me to leave my car with them for a week. When I came across Rick's I was excited they could do everything at my house and in one day. They will come back in a couple weeks to do the secondary wash and check. Overall communication is top notch. Ethan laid out everything in advance and set expectations. Rick's was available and responded quickly. Ethan and Caleb arrived on time, and I could tell they knew what they were doing. It was a great day weather wise for the work they'd complete. It was unseasonably cool, overcast with light rain in the morning. Other than humidity, it was ideal for what they needed. They arrived promptly on time at 8am and explained everything they'd do with the car to get it where I wanted it. I added an interior coating at the time based on their suggestion. The two man team did most of the work inside my garage. They did the interior first, then washed the car, paint correction, coated the interior and exterior. Took the wheels off and completed their coating. They did run out of the interior package I added upon their recommendation, but they explained they'd complete when they do a wash in two weeks. All good and great communication. The car looks great and I'll refrain from driving it much over the next week. I'll also refrain from washing it to let it properly cure. Again an overall very positive experience and exceeds my expectations currently. Appreciate the work that Caleb and Ethan completed. Thank you!

I can't possibly speak enough praise for Dex and KC Elite Car Care. I've brought him three of my personal vehicles over the past year, and i've been absolutely stunned at the quality of work that they've performed. There are plenty of detailers in the Kansas City metro, and i've used quite a few of them, but none of them can capture the quality of work, honesty and fair pricing that Dex offers. Don't waste your time elsewhere, you won't be disappointed. The pictures attached are of my 92 Lincoln Mark VII. The paint was covered in swirl marks and was dull and starting to oxidize. Marion and team are incredible. Everything was a breeze from initial contact, scheduling, calling the day-of to confirm arrival time to following up when the job was complete. There’s a small distance based travel fee for on-location jobs but was so worth it to have them come to us and not have to worry about logistics of dropping off a car. After a storm we found our Lincoln Navigator with a tree penetrating our front windshield. Once we replaced the shattered windshield we had to find a way to get rid of the massive amount of glass in the interior. Mirror imaging got it done in one day. Our Lincoln has never looked better. Great selection of professional products with variety. 5 out of 5 for that. I'm sure they are very knowledgeable of their products however I went in knowing that I wanted to polish my glass and thought I seen a particular kit. It wasn't what I wanted and the woman who helped me steered me to a other. I asked multiple times if the kit, which wasn't exactly a polish kit but a surface product kit that had a polish step had every polish sponge or applicator I would need and she said yes and even asked the gentleman and he said yes. However when I got back to families and opened it it didn't have what I needed. It only comes with product applicators. I will have to order the sponges when I get back to AZ. Just sucks because I wanted to do it while I was back in MO with the nicer weather. I leave Monday and won't have the chance.

Some of you may know from prior reviews that I bought a used blue Mustang from Moss Motors Iowa. Great engine and transmission but the paint was very beat up and stained from 10 years on the road. Neat Job, great detailing guys. I got a exterior detail pack for 75$ and it took about 1 hour. A usual hand wash costs about 25$ and will take approx 30 minutes.

I would not recommend this place to family/friends. Derian was the one who did the interior detail on my car. He was nice and professional. I took my car at 4:45pm so I was the last car of the day. At 6:14 pm he calls that its ready for pickup. He opened the driver’s door and left rear door to look at what he did. I just peaked inside which was a mistake on my part. I made the error of not inspecting the car thoroughly. It was at a sketchy place where he was the only one there. He told he also did the trunk even though it wasn't included. The trunk was spotless and clean before I took it in. I didn't like that he did that when I didn't ask for him to do the trunk. I had my mom waiting for me in her car outside the gate. When I got home, I removed all the floor mats because the carpet was soaked underneath. I left the windows/doors open all through the night, because the seats were also soaked. There was a spot that I went over with my hand that left soap residue on my hand. He left my car seats with water stains. He didn't dry the seatbelt locks so that contributed to the water stains near the seatbelt locks. I feel that he over soaked the car seats. He didn't pay much attention to detail. Door Jambs & Windows In & Out weren’t cleaned. The car wasn't vacuumed well, I found trash when under the mats. The gear shift wasn't vacuumed either. He created a new marking on the passenger door fabric that wasn't there before. I should've inspected the car better at pickup and before paying but I'm a young girl doing this for the first time. I didn't like he asked for a tip because I'm already paying for the service. I did leave a tip because I'm dumb. I feel like my car is worse off now than before. Interior detailing price is $175 before taxes/tip. It's cheaper than other detailers in the area I saw on google, but it’s cheaper for a reason. My car was serviced on 9/28. I waited to send him an email until the car fully dried. I sent him an email about it, he replied with an apology and offered a free interior detail. I emailed him back accepting the offer for the interior detail, but he didn't reply to set it up. On 10/10 I sent him another email because I hasn't heard back for him about scheduling the interior detail but no response. At this point if he still wanted to make it right, it would be a refund so I can go somewhere else and get it fixed. Before and after pics included.

I cannot recommend them enough! I had a couple noticeable scratches on gloss black paint, a quick call later they said stop by anytime. I get there, and Todd introduces himself and everyone in the office was kind. He comes out to take a look and got right to work in the parking lot. Revived the paint above my expectations in a few minutes all the while taking my silly questions about bodywork, giving me some tips and tricks, and having some nice small talk. In and out after about 20 minutes. Having a daily driven truck with gloss black paint, I will surely be back with more work for them. He mentioned they are moving to KCK soon, and I will go out of my way to use them at that location as well. I would absolutely recommend them for anyone looking for an honest, no-nonsense local business to support. I have already shared them with my friends.

Fantastic family feel, my card wouldn't work, I've had the same issue at gas pumps. I saw a young lady who apparently either works there or just was with the owner. Any way she used her card, specifically for the carwash and simply said, please don't forget to hit stop. It stopped on its own during the final rinse. Located a gent that I knew worked there or maintained. He also swiped for me, the nice lady was nowhere to be found. Even I thought it sounded shady. Anyway, they are worth visiting. Only place I go.

Tidal Wave Car Wash: A Nightmare of Negligence and Disrespect Date of Incident: December 3rd, 2024 Membership Status: Tidal Wave Member On December 3rd, 2024, what should have been a routine car wash turned into a harrowing ordeal that exposed critical safety failures at Tidal Wave Car Wash. As a long-standing member, I found myself in a terrifying situation within the car wash tunnel when a vehicle unexpectedly stopped at the end of the wash. Multiple employees were present, yet completely inattentive to the potentially catastrophic scenario unfolding before them. With no staff monitoring the tunnel's operations and the emergency shut-down button left unused, I was forced to take immediate action to prevent a multi-car collision. In a moment of quick thinking, I threw my car into park to stop the automatic forward movement, repeatedly honking to gain the staff's attention. Due to the desperate honking to communicate the emergency, I was forced to roll down my window to inform them of the issue, which resulted in water pouring in, drenching the interior of my car. The staff's response was nothing short of shocking—they simply resumed operations as if nothing had happened, offering no apology or acknowledgment of the serious safety breach nor the responsibility of notifying them being on the customer. When I expressed my legitimate concerns and emotional distress after exiting the carwarsh tunnel, I was patronized and dismissed. I was told repeatedly, "you're fine." When I communicated that I was not fine nor did I know if my car was okay, staff suggested I speak to Jake Johnston, their site leader, to address my concerns. The follow-up with management only added insult to injury. Jake initially thanked me for preventing a potential pile-up and offered a perfunctory apology & blamed the lack of empathy of his employees on their ages, but his solution was a single month's credit—the same promotion given to new customers. This token gesture completely undermined the severity of the incident and the emotional toll it had taken on me. Not to mention the unknown state of my car. The subsequent interaction with Nick, a corporate representative who followed up with me after I contacted corporate about the incident, was even more infuriating. He avoided discussing safety protocols, attempted to interrogate me as if I had caused the incident instead of being the one who prevented further issues instead of addressing my concerns, and suggested that I file a police report on the stopped vehicle. As a woman of color, this experience was painfully familiar—a narrative of deflection, responsibility shifted onto the customer, and legitimate safety concerns summarily dismissed. The systemic disrespect was palpable. Tidal Wave Car Wash demonstrated a complete lack of accountability on multiple levels, showing that customer safety was nothing more than an afterthought. Their unprofessionalism, negligence in maintaining basic safety protocols, and dismissive attitude left me with no choice but to cancel my membership. I will never return to Tidal Wave Car Wash. What should have been a simple car wash became a traumatic experience that exposed the deep-seated issues within their organization. Their failure to prioritize customer safety, their lack of emergency protocols, and their defensive, patronizing approach to customer concerns speak volumes about their operational practices. No customer should have to experience the level of stress, potential danger, and disrespect that I encountered on that December day.

The girl at the check in was very nice and seemed like she'd been working there for awhile; helpful and sold me on a membership. The guy directing the car in yelled thank you after doing the initial wipe-down. I thought that was cool because how many people will hear him? Not many, windows are up & it's loud, I barely heard, but he still said it. They were busy too, but a lot of free vacuums available with rags to use. The cheapest wash, tire shine, is $13 and change after tax.

My car was fairly dirty, but the wash simply missed a lot of spots. They told me with my membership it cleans the underneath of the vehicle as well, but it did absolutely nothing for the underneath. It dries decently but it doesn’t get the back dry. Update: now have been through the wash 3 times and still have the same dirty sports all over the vehicle

This is a really fun car wash to visit. I liked that they had a minimal type of track for the vehicle to Glide along through the car wash. I purchased the Speedy detail of the interior and was fairly happy with it although I feel like it could be more thorough. My areas that I really worry about our windshield surfaces so I would say that had some room for improvement and there were some streaks and dirt still on it. Overall when you're not feeling well and can't do your own car detail I feel like it was worth the money to have it vacuumed out and so forth.

Don’t waste your money or time. I had been looking for a self serve car wash in Lenexa and this is not the one. Wash bay would only accept cash. The Vacuum was clogged spent my money unclogging it and then it didn’t suck worth a darn. Go to charlie’s their vacuums are the best. Lesson learned sometimes small local businesses are not worth the support. Now I have another stop added to my day.

I was really wishing my first experience was a fluke. Their newer automatic softwashes aren’t worth the money. After spending $16 both times, i was left without the brushes operating & blow dryer working. The brushes went half down my vehicle and stopped before going to the next cycle. The blower didn’t work. I went through the touchless automatic just to get let down again. The wash was ok. The dryer also didn’t work. Disappointed and wouldn’t recommend. Edit: Customer service is excellent. I was able to give this location another shot and everything worked great. Satisfied customer and recommend this wash based on the whole experience, including trouble shooting, from start to finish.

I had bugs from traveling. The employees (3) walked around the car and sent me through the wash. No pre-wash for bugs. I bought the $12 wash. I had to clean a few off. Perhaps it a new procedure. Otherwise, a nice wash.

First time visitor- the turn to enter the car wash after paying is really sharp and the track is pretty narrow. The guy guiding me in was not super helpful as I was inching forward onto the track. I apparently didn’t get my tire lined up right because I “wasn’t paying attention” (according to the attendant, despite the fact I was making eye contact with the guy the whole time). He needed to reset the wash, which he snapped at me after it didn’t start. I didn’t need to fully back out of the entrance and realign, but did have to back up a little, put it in neutral, and then let the Grumpiest Man Who Ever Lived reset the wash. I’m sorry I didn’t get it perfect and was happy to adjust my car- I really was trying (and, ahem, paying attention) but so unnecessary to treat a customer like that. What a total jerk. Will never come here again.

Smooth Auto Detailing is a very affordable car detailing company. I hired them to remove bug debris on my Nissan. They did such a thorough job and helped uncover all the scratches and dings on my hood that need a paint correction. They drove out to Ottawa for the job. Do not recommend. This carwash doesn’t rinse the car. It messed up the chrome/silver part on my hatch. I called to talk to someone, left a message, and never got a call back.

Bad review? Not from me! My wife and I love this place. Been running our vehicles through here for years and would not choose to go anywhere else. Can't believe the range of opinions in the reviews. My F150 comes out clean so does my wife's Expedition. Only thing that may need a wipe down is the middle of the tail gate. However, this is common with most of the washes I have been through. Did great work on a couple dents on my '21 Ram. Had a dent on my driver door frame from the wind catching it and throwing it into a brick ledge, came out even better than I was expecting. A smaller area where my daughter accidentally hit my truck with a rock came out perfect, can't even tell it was ever there other than some minor paint touch up I need to do. Got the work done quick and it was very affordable! Also, Luke was very responsive. Great all around experience, will be back for future work.

I just had my Lincoln Aviator treated at Titan Auto Coating, and I’m genuinely impressed! Jakob recently did a paint correction and decontamination, installed an Icon Rocklear coating on the painted surfaces, and a 6 year ceramic coating on the headlights, tail lights, black plastic areas, wheels, and gloss black B pillars. He did a phenomenal job of getting rid of any imperfections and applying the coatings. I definitely recommend Titan Auto Coatings not just because of the amazing job Jakob does but because of how talented he is and his great communication with me throughout the whole process. He also went above and beyond working with my schedule to get the vehicle dropped off and picked up. I called and got quotes from many detailing shops throughout the KC metro area, and Titan Auto Coatings was the only Icon Rocklear authorized installer, plus Jakob was the only person who actually seemed like he truly cared about my happiness with my vehicle, would take great care of it, and wasn't just interested in taking my money. He took the time to explain the process, answer all my questions and concerns, and put my mind at ease about such a big decision as this is the first time I've had a vehicle I've owned coated. I was very nervous and didn't know what to expect, but Jakob was very cool, friendly, honest, sincere, and made me feel very comfortable about my decision to go with Titan Auto Coatings. Besides Jakob being a great and talented person, his prices are very competitive and even cheaper than some of his competitors. Just for context, I've never met nor did I know Jakob prior to paying him to do work on my vehicle. This review is my honest opinion about his work and services provided.

If I am paying $55 for a carwash and interior clean, that is called The Whole Thing, I shouldn’t be seeing dust in the vents, on the dash, on the consul, on the display screen, and mud on my spare tire. I heard them say it needed a re-wash, and they never did. Also, thank you for taking the receipt that was on the dash so we can’t get the 5 day guarantee. Do better, will not recommend or be returning.

My husband took in my vehicle to get the full inside and outside treatment. After it went through the process he mentioned several issues as the car was not completely clean. He brought it home and contacted management and they just advised to come back in 5 days. We didn't have time to come back in 5 days. We took it that day expecting it to be done right. It felt as if they're too busy to properly do the job right the first go around. When I looked at my car I felt like we were duped out of our money. Outside and inside still had dirt and grime. Not all crumbs were vacuumed up. Cupholders not all clean. Gear shift smeared and still has dirt in edges. Door jambs still covered in dirt. If you're looking for a light polish then maybe that's the place to go. But don't take a dirty car and expect the sparkle and shine promise they proclaim.

I recently had my Audi RS3 here for a ceramic coating application and I couldnt be happier with the experience. I had agreed to let my car be a demo car for a master class they were holding where other detailers come in and learn how to use their top tier products, so originally I had no idea what ceramic product I was getting (not the typical experience). They documented every step of the process and sent over video clips of the car and where they were at in the process/class. After it was done I found out that I received Dok Do 10 year coating and when I went to pick it up (on a day the shop was closed) Luke explained everything in detail on what happened and how to clean it and sent me home with a sample bag. The service also came with a complimentary wash! Couldn't be happier with how much time it takes to wash my car now and how I should of saved the paint on my car and time to have it ceramic coated earlier!

This was not worth the money I paid. I use the products that supplied to wipe the greasy film off of the paint next day it’s back. If you have a black colored vehicle would not recommend at all.

Quincy did an amazing job detailing our car. We bought this car used and have NEVER seen our white interior this pristine and clean! It smells great and the carpet is super soft. We did the interior detail mini, and it was a very fair price. It was totally worth it and we will be using the service again. Quincy was friendly and professional. Joey does amazing work, I had him do a full paint correction on my mustang and couldn’t have been more impressed with the results. He managed to get rid of 20 years worth of scratches in the paint as well as oxidation making my car look brand new again. I cant recommend his business enough.

Joe and his crew at JW Consulting are miracle workers. My Ram 2500 suffered massive hail damage on EVERY panel, with the hood and roof nearly beaten to death. Many people were sure the hood and roof panels would have to be replaced, which would have required paint work. But Joe and his team saved the panels…and my beautiful original paint. JW Consulting delivered on all their promises and did it with professionalism and a smile. As proof of how much I trust JW Consulting, I sent my dad to JW for hail damage repair on his brand new Tacoma. (And I know if my dad is disappointed, I’ll never hear the end of it! LOL) I highly recommend JW Consulting for hail damage repair! Edited to add photos. It was hard to capture the extend of the damage in pics but I tried. Now it’s like new!

Best place to get your car taken care of in the Kansas City area! Joe and his guys did an amazing job on my vehicle! I was embarrassed to let anyone ride with me because of the aftermath of having children in the car on a regular basis 😖🥴🤢...but once I got my car back from JW CONSULTING it was PERFECT! But beyond that was my experience I had with JW CONSULTING-probably the best experience I have had with ANY business in the KC area! Joe went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the service of my vehicle. He even offered to fix a part of my vehicle that was broken FOR FREE! I will definitely be using JW CONSULTING for every future hail, dent, and detailing need I have.
