I have a 1990 SS 454 Chevy pick up that I have been working on for the past year. It has about a 10 year restoration on the body. I'm a motor head, not a body man so I rebuilt the engine, engine bay, rear end, and some chassis work. However, this is not about me. The truck was already pretty easy on the eyes but I wanted it to look as good as it could for what it is. I took the truck to Don Weigel at Shine Like Mine In Hutchinson Ks. Don contacted me the next day with concerns about the paint on the hood. I went to visit him and and he put his paint mil gauge at several locations on the hood to show me the thickest point was 1.9 mil. Don's concern was that he would not be able to do the paint correction on the hood with the paint being so thin. We discussed it and decided to repaint the hood.He called Dwight Siefker a friend of his at Siefker Restoration in Salina Ks. Dwight has worked on my wifes Lincoln MKX recently, so I knew he does good work. We pulled the hood and Don delivered it to him that afternoon. Don returned and continued to work on the rest of the truck. I brought the truck home 3 days later looking amazing, even without the hood, but I couldn't wait to see it with the hood finished. He called and told me him and Dwight would be delivering the hood on Thursday. We put the hood on and I think you will see for yourself the work these guys do when you look at the pictures. Keep in mind, the ceramic coating can't be applied on the hood for another 3 weeks or so. I am extremely happy with the work the both of these guys done and can't wait to see it when it is complete . I gave a 5 star rating because that is the highest I was able to. It deserves a 10. Thank you Don at Shine Like Mine Detailing and also to Dwight at Siefker restoration !!! Bob Sherrer

Actually 0 stars. They dropped a Denali on my rear bumper and refuse to pay for damages. Yhis type of damage is never mentioned when we go in. We do NOT recommend this business. We will never go there again.

My absolute FAVORITE car wash! They are set up just like club car wash but far less expensive and a local business! They have the machine at the front so you could technically pay on your own, but the gal out front is always there to help you so you don’t have to try and figure out the machine; she just does it for you. The guys inside spraying the cars down are always soooooo nice and smiling and look like they truly enjoy being there. I don’t care what those guys are making, they deserve a raise!!

A real scam with this place and Morton Salt. I was sent to this place for an inspection and failed my trailer because it was dirty and I had to pay 60 bucks to have it blown out even though the trailer was immaculate. Nothing came out when they blew out the trailer......because it was perfectly clean. I attach photographs of it prior to their 'inspection' I took them because I heard other drivers complain about their scam. So drivers take note that the pics show a trailer they rejected because it was dirty!!!!

I paid for the premium automatic wash. $10. Only the jets just worked on 1/2 of the car. So I had to pay to finish the job in the manual bays. They ripped me off before, and they never answer the number that's posted. This place is trash, don't try it.

What i truly appreciated most was the outstanding communication, promptness at getting me a quote and completing the work quickly. I asked to see the bumper without paint because we were paying out of pocket and I wasnt sure if I wanted to spring the extra for this car, so they went above and beyond and sent me pictures without paint AND then took it back off when I decided to pay for paint. Used my card at the self serve car wash stall and it put a temp hold of $10- ok no big deal. Timed how long it took to do a fast wash/spray and rinse off- 4 minutes. And it charged me $10.75 once it posted. That is insane for a few minutes of manually washing my own vehicle. I'm definitely disputing with my bank, seeing as in how nobody gets anywhere with the owners. Will avoid this one from now on!

Horrible car wash. Takes forever for equipment to switch modes. Has a countdown timer but no visable or audible countdown so you don't actually know how much time you have left. Timer just expires in the middle of washing making you stop and pay another $2.25 to start it again. Also seems to use cold water instead of hot. So much of a hassle to use that my car arguably looks worse just covered in missed spots and water spots. I've been to multiple Coach Light carwashes in town and they all are terrible. Obviously a management/ownership issue.
