I’ve now had two of my cars tinted and ceramic coated at Chicago Auto Pros. My first car, a 2024 Polestar 2 Performance, is still holding up and looks showroom new almost 14 months later. So for longevity, I can certainly say Chicago Auto Pros is on top of it! Today I brought in my spare car because why not?! It is a Volvo V60 Polestar wagon. I’d you didn’t get the gist of it by now, I really like Swedish cars. Given my love of the classy, understated elegance of the Swedish cars, I knew I needed a shop that wouldn’t use subpar tints, or try and get me to completely black out my car. That wasn’t a problem at all. Dom, the advisor who helped me, made sure I picked what was right for me. Not surprisingly, the tints are flawless and there is not a single air bubble or imperfection to be seen. I am taking the Volvo back in 1 week for paint correction and a ceramic coating, so she can match my Polestar in flawless elegance. Without a doubt, I’ll be back whenever I purchase a new vehicle….which is more often than I’m willing to admit. Will picked up and returned my car to my house and put me at ease after a very stressful morning, where I found the remnants of a raccoon party in my car. WOW, David and his crew are amazing. They did a ceramic coating on my high roof sprinter van and it turned out absolutely perfect. This van is literally 10 feet tall and cleaning it is like cleaning a bill board. When picking it up I gave it a good once over and the entire van was perfect! The paint was buttery soft with a mirror like shine. The van is 4 years old and it looks better now than it did when it was brand new. From my first phone call asking about price, process etc. all the way to pick up they were professional, courteous, and gave me all the information needed to make an informed decision. Car wash did next to nothing for my dirty windshield. They said they do not scrub windows only run them thru the wash and dry them. Waterway has no problem ever cleaning my windows. I paid the $3 bug removal surcharge and they rewashed it, but the manager was argumentative and they seemed not to care about customer satisfaction. I will not return.

Aqualux Car Spa is the best business to go if you’re looking to get your car washed and detailed. They are very inexpensive and professionals. Today, I took my 2024 Kia Forte Sedan to get washed and detailed as it was looking horrendous for the past 3 months. I was happy with the previous owner's job but I am not happy with the new team. I brought 400 miles car for platinum wash, none of the doors are cleaned. There were mud on the exterior lower trims as well. For 40+5$" tip, it should be a way better job

Caveat Emptor **BUYERS BEWARE!** AVOID THIS CAR WASH AT ALL COST. Glenview’s Best?? More like Glenview’s WORST! Even if it’s “complimentary from C&M”. I had a voucher for a complementary clean and they refused to honor it. In fact, they wanted and expected me to pay for it. They couldn’t understand the meaning of “complimentary wash”. I was shocked when my car came out just as dirty as it came in. You get poor quality cleaning and scratches on your vehicle from their washer blades, and if you pay for “Ultimate wash $24.99”you are even more skewed because you really only get “basic or protection clean.” You and your car deserve better. They have atrocious customer service, guys who don’t know how to clean cars and they perform price gouging (as you can see in the photo below: a basic wash jumped up 25% from $14.99 to $19.99, and Ultimate wash went from $19.99 to $24.99). I expect so much better if I’m going to be paying that kind of money for my vehicle to be cleaned. Best to take your business elsewhere.

A2 Auto Detailing is the best place to go if you want your car looking brand new. I came in with a lot of scratches and swirls on my car and he performed a paint correction and crystal coating which resulted in my car looking practically brand new with a glass-like finish. He is knowledgeable on what’s he’s doing and gives very reasonable rates. It’s safe to say I will be coming back in the future for any of my detailing needs.

High quality materials and services are provided here. I really don't think anyone can go wrong with this young gentleman. This is an individual-run business, while the owner may lack marketing skills to grab our attention, compared to corporates, the result delivered is through his heart, not money-driven mind of regular businesses. Johnny is a very polite, honest, and easygoing gentleman to work with. He offers either mobile/on-site service. I was very impressed by the quality of work he offered on my three year old car with a full detail coming with a reasonable price. I am actually a very picky person on car care, but Johnny even fully cleaned the hard-to-see areas like the flooring behind pedals, no mentioning shampoo/steam the whole interior, and applied protectants on different interior trims. And his secret wax that expels water like ceramic coating is really impressive as well. There are more other out-of-expectation areas of Johnny's work to talk about, and I won't hesitate to recommend him for anyone who needs a detailing.

The wife's 392 Durango had a car back into her and damaged the front bumper. Understated replaced the front bumper and all necessary parts and honestly probably looks better quality than when we picked it up brand new. Great communication and very quality work. Came here twice so far and the most recent time was probably the better experience, with very thorough cleaning. Opted for #3 Deluxe Wash both times and will most likely continue to do so. They have a nice waiting area but you can also watch the team clean your vehicle also. Haven't had a chance to snag a photo during that time, but photos here are of after the vehicle's gone through the high powered drying system. They also have an email distribution list you can sign up for with coupons/deals but haven't signed up for that just yet. Unsure of their winter hours but hope they still have their services available - My previous hand car wash that I used to go to permanently closed.

They damaged my driver’s power seat mechanism and refused to cover any cost to fix it. I had a tape measure sitting underneath the driver seat. They moved my seat up all the way to the front to vacuum the rear floor mats and lodged the tape measure under the bar that horizontally connects to each side of the seat and to the rails which the driver seat moves on. I noticed the damage right away because something was clearly off when I sat in the seat. I filed a report with them, they documented the damage and then said I would be hearing back from the manager of the car wash. In the meantime I got an estimate of just north of $1600 to fix the damage. The car wash eventually called me back days later after trying to get a hold of them multiple times. The manager basically told me they are not responsible for this damage because they didn’t do anything wrong- they move the seats back and forward in every car they clean. How is it possible they didn’t do anything wrong? They didn’t even look under the seat before moving it to see if anything was in the way. When they lodged the tape measure under the seat's track, I am sure there would have been signs that something was about to get stuck under there. Yet, they proceeded to keep moving the seat forward. They weren’t careful, and their customer service should have been more cooperative and taken responsibility for their mistake. They could have at least offered to cover part of the cost. Instead, they acted as if it was my fault that there was something under the seat. They should thoroughly inspect vehicles, before working on them. That directly relates to their managerial training. I don't blame the employee that was working on the car, this is a management training issue. They market themselves as a higher end service, a car wash starts at ~$28 to begin with. One would expect extra care when getting their car washed there. I wouldn’t trust them again with my car.

I like this car wash. I think it does a good job on the quicks. However, when I looked at my car when I got home, I noticed the tire shine applicator somehow scratched my hub-cap when exiting the car wash. If there was an option to opt out of tire shine in the system beforehand, I would come back. Unfortunately, I think the tire shine applicator is a flawed design. Too bad.

I recently purchased a brand new 2025 Z07and drove it right from the dealer to Ross and his team. I found him via word of mouth and couldn’t be more pleased with Midwest Autobahnd’s work. They did a meticulous paint correction and then applied Xpel PPF, followed by a ceramic coating. All along the way I received videos from Ross regarding the scratches being removed and the progress on the car. I needed the car finished before the weather got bad and Ross made that happen without sacrificing quality. They did an excellent job at a fair price, and I highly recommended Midwest Autobahnd for any paint protection and/or detailing.

I had neglected the exterior of my 2020 RAV4 for four years. I brought my here and talked to Ross. When I got my car back. The paint was back to 99% perfect, dents were removed, vinyl work was redone and the entire car is protected in a white matte finish. My car looks new again and stands out with the matte paint protection film. I highly recommend.

They literally TRANSFORMED my car! It is brand new!! And several weeks later it still feels fresh and like new. I cannot be more thankful for the care they took and their attention to detail. I was having issues with rodents in my engine bay. My mechanic smelled the rodent urine in my engine bay and told me I should get the engine bay detailed as the rats would come back by the smell and cause bigger issues. I researched and found detail doctor as they had a lot of good reviews. I called and Aldo got me in the next day. He did not disappoint. Told me the process to get the smell out of my engine bay and keep the rodents from coming back in. Would definitely recommend Aldo and will most likely be going back to get my interior done at some point.
